That's because Hatton didn't allow him to be himself. Tszyu even admits that.

I picked Tszyu to win that fight but said Hatton would give him a tougher than expected fight. Hatton's style is tough for a fighter as stationary as Tszyu.

I will not open up the old can of warms...

But anyway, I picked Hatton to beat Tszyu TKO after 6th.

Mayweather by mid-round ko. I have heard the agrument of Castillo beating him but Mayweather is better now and he still won. Hatton is wide for straight shots and against Floyd it will be his end. ALso Floyd has seen people jump on him (not maybe as well as Hatton ) but Hatton has never seen someone like Floyd. His speed, footwork , and ability to keep pace with Hatton.

I've seen exactly the same thing happen about 30 times now, and also I've never seen anyone win as many rounds against Hatton as Tszyu did.
At lot of people are yet to see that, but he does it every fight, it took him a few rounds against Magee and about 6-7 rounds against Tszyu but everyone else has been shut down in the first round. I think Hatton will need to do it to fighters like Mayweather, Cotto, Corrales and Castillo before people will believe it(which will be very tough because they are very good).

I dont know if heavy hands is better than being a flash KO puncher?? At least with heavy hands your opponent is beaten very soon(not KO'd but in survival mode) but a falsh KO puncher doesnt wear his opponent down, so they are dangerous for as long as it lasts.

I dont think there was any doubt you would pick Mayweather to win judging by your username.

I understand your point and i can see why you think them, the only things i'd add is that Hatton's slipping has improved a lot, he's not really open for the straight shots anymore, but i suppose anyone's open to Mayweather shots.

thats exactly what i say. repeat of gatti fight except probably like 9-11, and with hatton coming forward trying to throw unlike gatti. that will play in to mayweathers hands also as would hatton trying to box him which would be even more hilarious. Im sure you all remember the ndou fight when ndou threw like 80-100 punches in a row and maybe 3-5 landed and they barely landed. well hatton wont throw that much but thats how they will look with mayweather trying to keep from laughing his ass off while defending them. he shoulder roll, and pick of hattons' wide ass punches and then take him apart. "easy work" for mayweather

I think it's near impossible to KO Hatton. The dude is tough, there's no doubt about it, but he's never fought a "boxer" like Floyd. Floyd is a great all round fighter, he can fight in any way, wether it be on the outside, or the inside. And remember people you guys say that Castillo was successful with his pressure style...well that was when Mayweather was still changing his style from ALL DEFENSE to a mixture of offense and defense. See what happened in the rematch? He made easy work of Castillo.

No one trains as hard as Mayweather, NO ONE. He's always in tip top shape and he takes boxing very seriously. Hatton poses a pretty decent problem for PBF, but in my eyes, Mayweather won't be beaten for at least 3-4 years.
