Nice to see Paris fight someone decent, should be interesting
No bull, but I've only caught Paris on Sun sports where I'm at. For him to finally get some air time on HBO is nice.

Is it going to be televised on HBO?

He won't be on HBO, but still this is a big event more people than usually get to see him. if it ends impressively HBO may show highlights never know.

Good fight between young up and comers though for those who go to see it.

Definitely. I hope they show the highlights regardless.

I actually looked at boxrec and seen this fight, very exciting. I've seen Vernon fight a few times live and look forward to seeing him take a step up and this is a major step up indeed. It's a good fight and the undercard is looking better than I expected.

Paris looked horrible on Shobox recently. Anyone know if he's made any major changes in his corner or training? He really needs a big change to move up.

Vernon Paris is a ******, undisciplined, weed smoking thug.

He's been in trouble with the law, beat up women, had wins taken away for failing his drug tests and generally fights like a showboating ass.

He was on the Dirrell-Abraham undercard and I attended the weigh in where Paris shows up with about 30 thugs in his entourage all wearing shirts that say "Vernon Paris Crime Family"

I hope he gets his ass kicked.

Yeah, I've followed him a little bit and I know he's had his issues, that's kind of why I was hoping to hear he's changed his ways.

He was supposed to be on the only boxing event I've ever attended (The Fire and Ice card at the Palace about 3 years ago, with Lanardo Tyner co-headlining separate bouts) but he was sick or some other BS at the time. He was there taking pictures with people.

I could see him losing to Coleman, and in some ways I hope he does. He clearly has some talent, and maybe a beat down will get him to change the direction of his life.

So apparently Coleman suffered a shoulder a injury and is off the card.

Kind of sucks I was looking forward to the fight.
