Bob said it before that the only way the fight is going to happen is when JMM accepts the same purse he got from Floyd or lower. JMM wanted the fight with Mayweather so bad that he conceded every single bit of negotiations to the American. Now that he's trying to get a fight with Pacquiao he can't make the same concessions? I believe the 'offended' bit that Arum said points out the fact that JMM is implying that Manny is inferior to Mayweather which should not be.

Plain and simple, JMM really does not like to fight Pacquiao. He just wants to standout from the Pacquiao bandwagon because he knows that when he is on Manny's d*ck, he creates publicity and makes him feel more like superstar.

reread my post, i said he & shane play b-side opponents to floyd/pac.... are you gonna argue that?!?!? i never said anything about marquez being a b-side fighter. LOL. at this stage in his career, jmm's performances rival the work of floyd/pac... but lets not act like jmm can headline a ppv by himself. margarito has more name recognition than marquez. thats a fact. jmm NEVER had a strong following until he started opening up his offense. he always was in the shadow of barrerra & morales.

?jmm = deserves shot, but not realistic @ 147
?shane = best option financially (according to arum)
?berto = unknown/undeserving, but relevant (undefeated, unify titles)

of those 3 choices, its obvious arum would choose shane... arum is a PROMOTOR, of course he will go the money route. i dont think ANY fight fan supports pac/shane... so i dont know where the hell you think my stance was regarding this. LOL

1.) Manny Pacquiao is a coward for claiming to be an 8-division champion, and yet being too scared to EVER fight an actual JMW opponent.

2.) Manny Pacquiao is also a coward for ducking Mayweather back in December, either that or he is a steroid cheat. He didn't want none of Mayweather or the tests, thats for sure.

3.) Manny Pacquiao is also a coward for ducking Sergio Martinez. If JMM can go up two divisions to WW, then surely Manny can defend his JMW title at 154. What a b1tch Manny.

4.) Manny Pacquiao is also a coward for demanding a catch-weight for Cotto. There are two reasons to demand a catch-weight, either you are not good enough to compete with that fighter at his natural weight, which is fine..... or you are attempting to drain him to gain an unfair advantage, which is cowardly. Team Pacquiao tried to drain Cotto, because Manny had already fought at 147.

5.) Manny Pacquiao is also a coward for ducking Shane Mosley - TWICE !!

So Marquez wanted $6 million. What's Pac going to get. $10-15 million? Pac is offended, and he'd rather give us a fight no one wants to see. Great. As far as boxing goes, Pac vs Mosley is a pretty uninteresting matchup at this point. Pac vs Marquez would have been much more interesting to see again.

Pacquiao and Arum knows that the number of people interested to see Manny fight JMM is very few. Manny clearly said that if GBP is pushing for that fight then he will fight JMM as long as the Pacman gets a guaranteed sum of money and let GBP alone to promote the fight. Top Rank never got a respond from GBP.
