Garcia seems like a stand up guy and he very well might be but looking around at the types he chooses to surround himself which makes me think otherwise. Show me who your associates are and I'll tell you who you are. Plus the 24/7 episodes illustrated a ****ty side of Garcia... You would think a man of his age and respected by his peers the way he is he would carry himself in a more mature manner. I am sure to his family and fighters he is as loyal as loyal can be but that doesn't really mean the dude is truthful or honest in any way. Nobody does anything out of the kindness if their heart, there is always a mutually beneficial circumstance or potentially mutual benefit to anybody's good deeds. I don't believe for a minute that he took in Ortiz or Rios for that matter out of the goodness of his heart. Tht's bulli****, he is a trainer and those types are always looking for a diamond in the rough. As for Rios you can't tell me he isn't a grade A knucklehead who probably has beef with multiple dudes from Oxnard to Kansas. That kid is the typical douche bag street kid that will sooner get into a childish beef than be mature and deal with it like a professional. I don't know any of the concerned parties and I admit I can only speculate, but My old a$$ has been around the block and this feels like petty misunderstandings gone haywire because of testosterone and the falisy if trying to keep it real. I believe Ortiz might have made some mistakes in dealing with Garcia because 1- he is at that age when you make selfish type mistakes in life and 2- at that age all it takes is 1 person to start whispering in your ear for you to dump everything you once believed in or associated with. But Garcia is a grown a$$ man who should know he dumbs himself down to a kid's level by trying to argue and just feeds into it. As for Rios he strikes me as an ignorant a$$ child looking for a daddy to love, just like Ortiz was a couple of years go.

Ive always said Ortiz has some serious demons. He tries to hide his issues (whatever they are) with the smiles and giggles.

That was fantastic. I really want to see Rios in the ring with Ortiz, he would really mess Ortiz up. And reading a lot of that confirms what many of us saw during and after the Maidana fight.
