That's a good choice of his next Opponent! after that, he can entertain the idea of fighting Andre Berto, or Marquez for the right to fight Pacman!

Khan is only 24. He's my current favorite at light welterweight and I think he should stay at 140 for the next year or so and unify the division if he is able to. Nothing to gain at 147 right now and he has plenty of time to stay at 147 later on in his career.

I think he finds it hard to make 140. Not too hard but 147 would be a lot more comfortable.

Yeah thats what I mean to the naked eye, im thinking at that stage khan hadn't used them, they weren't quite 10oz either, and he has always used the reebok gloves, so they probably trusted reebok to get it right. Like I said sometimes different gloves feel like 10's even though they are 8's. I have had that before, but it was just the glove type but I felt like I couldn't get the right angles like you do when using bigger gloves in sparring. Floyd's gloves always look like 10's or 12's because he uses gloves which provide more protection.

Check out floyd vs zab and tell me that those gloves don't look a different size.

assuming he does go up to 147....given his size, frame etc....does anyone think he could go further still in due course...154? 160? martinez isnt any taller is he..obviously martinez probably wont be around by the time khan gets up there but do you think khan could compete at middle weight in his later 20's?

154 is the farthest I can see him going, and that's late in his career.

I reckon 147 is a good weight for him but his chin is at even more risk than it is now. I reckon he beats Bradley who will beat Alexander and then Khan should take a tune up 147 fight then go for Andre Berto.

hopefully Brook has a belt at 147 by then so Amir can fight him.
