    Khan is still chinny

For some reason Khan's fans think amir's chin is proven now after Saturdays fight, all it means to me is that he's well conditioned and can hold and run away from a flat footed fighter with no jab or boxing ability.

I give props to Khan for rolling some of those bombs, but I think if a skilled boxer had him that way in round 10 he would have been put away.

If you have a good chin you wouldn't have to hold for the next 2 rounds from a big punch, he did prove his chin isn't total glass, buy it's still chinny.

This proved that Khan doesn't have a glass jaw, but I still think he has at best an average chin. Honestly, it looked to me like Maidana was exhausted and simply didn't have the energy to finish the job...but then again he might have lost a lot of energy from the body shots he took in the first, so credit has to be given to Khan.

BTW, Maidana has boxing ability. The first overhand right he landed in the 10th was a very well placed counter-punch. Maidana isn't just the brawler people make him out to be. He does have decent boxing skills.

He didn't take flush shots to the chin, most of the shots he took were hitting him on the head.

he still doesnt have the best chin. anybody who says otherwise is totally fooling themselves. what he did prove tho is his chin is something above being glass. how far will it get him??? depends on how greatly he improves his defense. hopefully roach teaches him how to move his damn head. his foot movement is cool, but it wont help him against fighters like bradley.

I wouldn't give Maidana this distinction, but I agree with the rest he showed, at worst, an above average chin, his chin seems to be >Ortiz chin.

Good post, his defense is horrible. He should forget all about fighting Floyd as he would get carved up like a turkey.

True, I don't think Bradley could hurt him, then again a well-timed right hands may do the trick. Saturday showed me that Khans skills were overrated(large defensive holes with what appears to be no inside game) and that his heart and chin were underrated.

Khan doesn't have a glass jaw. He does have a suspect chin though. Maidana caught him with a flush shot on the tip of the chin, and he only wobbled Khan. Khan also took the uppercuts. Khan proved to me that he wants to survive in this sport-that's all!!! Now he has to prove that he wants to be great, and that he can be great...

So you didn't watch the 10th round? Or the replays of Maidana's big ****** looping overhand rights landing on the chin?

Seriously before the fight all you people said that if maidana lands a big punch the fight would be over. Maidana did land big shots and lost and the only excuse you can come up with is "well none of his shots landed directly on the chin".

For *** sake man you are smarter than this!!!
