not so sure pacman would lose to mayweather. Mayweather that moves and boxes would be great, but he is more flat footed now, and yes he would catch manny with counters and right hand leads..but a flat footed mayweather would have to deal with the onslaught of manny too. That is whay many people forget. Mayweather was flat flooted for the most part since he came back out of retirement. He moved a little vs dlh..Last time he showed good movment was vs Hatton, and for the most part he he did not move after the 4 rounds. so I simply wonder what happens when manny starts launghng those punches at floyd. I think floyd is himself concerned about that, as he has not signed. No doubt Floyd would outbox manny, but a stationary floyd will be hit and hit hard....and often. Can he deal with that.

And I concur totally on your assessment of May vs Pac fight. Going toe-to-toe with Pacquiao would be a suicide most specially knowing that Pacquiao/Roach would be banking on those relentless combinations when they see an opening.

It is the only chance Pacquiao got over Mayweather. Because if Mayweather would box him, move about laterally, in and out with accurate punches Pacquiao would be hard-pressed to throw those combinations, let alone land them.

And so it is a given thing that for Pacquiao, he would have to have an ENTRY MOVE and OPEN THE FLOODGATES if you will, and those will be in the form of RELENTLESS COMBINATION coming from different angles of attack.

**** floyd and paquiao, these two guys (khan and amir) gave us what we wanted, and thats a great fight to end our year. Props to both fighters, especialy to khan for his win. I never liked the guy but this video shows how classy he can be. I just wish he would stop talking **** and just fight and put more performances like this. Maidana was amazing to watch as well this sat. i couldnt believe what i was seeing from him, has prob the biggest heart in boxing. I loved this fight so much, makes me proud to be a boxing fan

if there's one person on here you don't want to argue with about floyd and manny, it's me, trust me--i know too much about this sport---

floyd didn't fight flat footed for marquez--he moved very well in that fight--and for shane, he fought like he was supposed to--so you think because manny has been fighting flat footed fighters recently, makes him too good for floyd now? get your mind right man--

floyd can not only fight inside, which he has done with shorter and taller fighters--he can disect you and will disect you doing it--you know why he has the best defense in boxing, it's because he can counter you inside and outside--and he has proven this---floyd can fight manny on the inside and outside and dominate him--which he will do---his upperbody movement is too quick for manny--that's just one trait-lol--there's 2 many to name right now--

as for khan, he would get heavily outboxed and then beaten down by round 5--that i do know--

i would happily break it down for you, but the whole point of my last post was just to keep in mind to you guys that they can't and won't ever beat floyd--they're not good enough--but they are class acts that for sure--very classy fighters--great fighters also--no doubt about it--

Stop being such an ignorant, arrogant little tosser. The insights you give on Mayweather are the same as any fool can see. All your grand 'knowledge' is just blindly obvious stuff that anyone who has an iota of knowledge on the sport can see within two seconds of watching a Mayweather fight without blinders on. Wpink has always been one of Mayweather's long time advocates and as a boxing writer and journalist has seen more boxing and analysed it a lot longer than you no doubt. Although I don't see eye to eye with him much and he himself can be a bit of a tosser, he knows the sport. Unlike you though he can see what is actually going on instead of being blinded by self delusion and ignorance. Mayweather has become more flat footed. A lot is by choice and a lot is by moving up in weight and getting older.

Anyway, I think what he is saying is that with Floyd moving a bit less Manny big chance to land those power shots is just that little higher. Either way, Mayewather has always fought southpaws more flat footed and walked them down more so and I imagine he will do that with Pac more than usual too.

Whether we will ever even see the fight because both are such ego driven wankers though is another matter entirely. It would really be a sad day for the sport if the only really important fight of the second half of the 2000's doesn't happen because they both think they are more important than they are. This has been one of the few fights of this size and importance that hasn't been made simply because both fighters can't see beyond their own ass. Pathetic really. They both have much too high a sense of importance in themselves. They are only boxers and they only get money because of fighting. If they don't make the fight both are pathetic goons.
