Thing is it wasn't that definitive who was the #1 given most of it is down to on what time period and the styles of the fighters. It switched around so regularly after every fight it puts questions marks on the weight the ranking had when it's immediately amended at the first opportunity.

I don't think Marg was so clearly the best WW out there when he beat Cotto and I don't think Mosely was when he beat him.

It's just how things and the fights in terms of order, worked out, and who was/wasn't around.

Fact is Manny faced Marg when Floyd didn't, and anyone he's faced whom Floyd has he's pretty much beaten more convincingly for the most part. Same may well go for Mosely.

There's not exactly a ton of more guys Manny can face at WW, there is however for Floyd accrued over the years. He could make up for that by at last facing the obvious guy above him in the division and p4p rankings, but instead there's a sense he might get away with it again by facing Khan. Ultimately, a shame. I think that's more a perfect way of fooling the public by Floyd again, more than anything else.

He can then tell Manny 90/10 take it or leave it and no one would be able to say a damn thing about it. Manny can't beat Martinez and needs to fight the unbeaten PBF or retire. Beating Manny with Martinez calling you out @ 154 would still warrant a fight for P4P supremacy.
No, they don't need each other. It would be great if they fought each other with OST but neither one needs the other. Both are lock to HOF, both are ATG's, both do crazy numbers, both are huge draws.

Is like this either both need each or they don't need each other. No such thing as Pac don't need Floyd, Floyd needs Pac or Floyd don't need, Pac needs Floyd...No is either they need each or they don't...All this lame talk of one of them needing the other is lame talk by fan boys of said fighter.

        The Floyd fight?

I don't see that happening...Well maybe if he fights JMM first then maybe.

If he does fight Floyd in 2011. Then it might be Judah-JMM-Floyd.

Either way, your initial statement was way off base. And don't look now but guess who Manny is fighting next? Yet people still believe his team wants a Mayweather match.

Its like Ricky Hatton all over again *sigh*...

And seriously stop the "omfg its all team~roid" crap. What the hell does that make Mayhweather the "negotiations never took place, lets revised history" team then? And I'll also tell you why Floyd would disregard all the hard work he puts into his boxing, its called weak ass bouts when he was a WW before he retired never facing a Cotto, a Mosley who wasn't near 40 nor a Margarito then. But hey, he was more than happy to take Judah off a loss (wth was that even about), Baldomir who fought no different than Hatton did. Yea that's about the time I lost respect for the guy. It ain't about his hard work, its about being protected and protecting that zero. I'll just continue to laugh when he calls himself the GOAT. He ain't and that shouldn't have ever been a debate.

Let me break this down to you dude. I tell you I want a million dollars but you say you wanna give me a hundred grand, we had a conversation but there was no negotiation because I looked at you like you were a damn fool and said "have a good life dude". Floyd CLEARLY said unrestricted OST up to fight time or NO FIGHT. I believe they talked and when Team Roid tried to negotiate the OST the talk was over. I'm sure you see how they negotiate with other fighters with all the BS which clearly shows Team Roid's character. Only an idiot would think they didn't try this with Floyd and he didn't just get up and say "PHUCK ALL YALL" cause that's just what happened. Floyd has every reason to not tolerate Team Roid's BS tactics and he shouldn't.

You gotta be a fly-by-night fan because if you weren't you would know PBF tried to fight Cotto and Mosley many times. Go to youtube and do some research, don't take my word. I know you would like to say PBF fought a old Mosley but remember fella, MANNY WANTED ABSOLUTELY NO PART OF THAT VERY SAME MOSLEY!!!!!! Mosley went to Manny's house begging for a fight at any weight Manny chose and Team Roid said HELL NO!!!!!!!! Get your weight up with some research son before you talk to a grown ass boxing fan!!

I don't understand why people listen to that guy...Is just as bad as listening to Arum FFS's.

You say that JRO but if I'm Floyd I'm getting ready for Martinez. If Floyd beats Martinez it would shame and humiliate Manny as a complete fake that only fights retreads. Manny has fought 6 fighters in a row coming off huge losses and now wants to make it 7? Even Team HBO can't spin that. A win over another fighter Manny wants absolutely no part of would do it.

But, you're not Floyd. If I was Pac I would go fight Martinez. I mean what are we saying here?

You can say the same thing for Pac. He can go fight Martinez as well and put Floyd to shame if you want to use that logic. Is not like I have seen Floyd running around mentioning Martinez since the Williams KO. So who is to say Floyd wants any part of him?

The point either they both need each other or they don't need each other. Again the whole one guy needs the other more so argument is just lame talk by fan boys. And, it looks like you're one. So it is what it is...

I am tired of both, let both retire and take their fan boys with them.
