Say what you will about Amir khan not sticking to the gameplan or maidana punching himself out in the 10th round, but Marcos Maidana has the biggest heart and will to win in the sport of boxing today. That liver shot at the end of round 1 finishes 95% percent of pro boxers...4 percent come in round 2 and get stopped...then there is the 1 percent that just keep coming forward. I've never seen determination in the face of such adversity in the sport of boxing for a long time. Cong**** to both fighters for a great fight.

It was amazing to see Maidana get up from that shot, I thought it was over. I think it was even more amazing seeing Khan able to finish the fight after that round he wobbled back to his corner. Can't say Maidana's knock down was any where near comparable to that.
