What a fight, cong**** to both guys...please may the khan haters rest. He fought a great fight, took shots, answered all the questions...is he the finished article? Hell no! A fighter with his speed should not be getting caught that much and he needs to learn how to avoid uppercuts...but then again I think most of the damage was done in the 10th, and that can happen against such a big puncher.

Maidana can win a world title, is he an elite fighter? No, but definitely world level. He is certainly better than juan urango, and ricardo torres, 2 recent south american punchers in the 140 weight class.

Give both guys props, and give me a ****ing break on the referee! Maidana deserved a deduction for the elbow, and yes cortez does break fighters up too quickly...thats his style always has been, everyone knows this, it worked against ricky hatton, and today against maidana...but in neither case would it have changed the outcome of the fight...if anything the quick breaks were helping maidana when khan was hurt late in the fight, khan could have been deducted a point for holding though. By the way just watched the 11th round back for a 2nd time...clearly a khan round in my opinion.

Agreed! Cortez is Kahn's bodyguard. It was blatant at so many instances. I think that is why Maidana tried to clip Cortez in the mouth with his elbow.

maidana clearly lost.. are people forgetting he went down like a sack of spuds in the first round??? he looked like he was dying!!! khan is a warriour and simply held on as your supposed to if you get hurt. seeing as khan took maidana's best shots and didnt go down like the other 27 fighters who lost to him id say khans chin is pretty solid at this weight!

come on guys this isnt even hating.. if you think maidana won then you are twisted people and need to get a life. the guy didnt even want an interview after cos he was a beaten man. nor did he want a rematch lol

maidana won! that wasa bullsiaat decision!!! no way khan won that fight he looked great early no more.....maidana 100%%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no way in hell khan gets props, he did great early but maidana turned it around, and the inwhich he did, khabs little pitty pat punches didnt do shiaaat after a while, while maidanas looked like it was one shot from being stopped on several occasions. khan is a hype job, he aint shiaaat!maidana the goods not CON!

For Khan to even take Maidana's punches is a BIG surprise to me, I thought he would be out with the very first BIG punch that maidana land on him, So Kudos to Khan.. Need to DL the fight and watch it.

That was a 10th round KO for Maidana. Joe Cortez should never be allowed to work another championship fight. Khan is a big mouth Con. Con may have scored more points but that fight should have been stopped in the 10th round!!!!!!!!
