Trainer Freddie Roach told Gareth Davies of The Telegraph that Amir Khan has to inflict damage on Marcos Maidana this Saturday at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Khan and Roach are looking to get a knockout in the late rounds. Roach is confident Maidana will not last the distance. He admits Maidana is very dangerous when hurt, but he's not worried about the end result.

I agree if Khan can't/don't hurt Maidana it might be an even shorter night then I'm thinking it will be..But I can see Khan hurting Maidana he has speed and some pop on his punches..But Maidana will buckle down grit his teeth and fight on to stop Khan in the six...I really can't wait for this fight..

He'll probably be learning Khan how to finish him when hurt what Ortiz failed to do .Still dangerous fight for Khan tho both Ortiz and Maidana have alot of ko's on there records Khan's all tko's .Maidana got something like 12 clean ko's .Don't think it'll matter tho with Khan's speed .
