Let Martinez fight someone else for 50% and see if it comes anywhere close to the 30% he would get against Miguel. Miguel may not have a great opponent out there but at this point in his career it doesn't matter. He is going to make at least 3 million versus any bum. So, why take a pay cut and a huge risk against Martinez? When Martinez proves he's worthy of big paydays by creating revenue at the gate and viewership, he can then demand top dollar.
Martinez would've taken this fight at the price offered anyway, it was Arum who sent the offer he knew would be insulting to Dibella because he didn't want the fight to take place in the first place.

arum doesn't owe dibella or martinez anything.
dibella was the one who sent the outrageous offer in which he would be sole promoter and cotto would get a flat fee of $5 mill. that's ridiculous.
