If I was Pac I would pass on it. I would make Marquez really earn his shot by beating legit 140-147 fighters. PAC and Marquez has had 2 fights already and PAC has done so much since their last fight. It would be to easy just to give Marquez a payday like that. Plus his latest childish way is a turn off.

OFFER ON THE TABLE WAS: RANDOM BLOOD TESTING

PACMAN'S COUNTER OFFER WAS: 7 OR 14 DAYS PRIOR TO FIGHT NIGHT (DEPENDING ON WHO IN TEAM PACMAN YOU ASK)

      Check this out:
Dr. Don H. Catlin, the head of the LA-based non-profit Anti-Doping Research, Inc:

“If you have a 24-day window that’s free, with no testing, you can take whatever you want and you’re not going to get caught, end of story,” Catlin said. “[Urine testing] does matter, yes, but they’re not going to catch everything by urine testing alone. What you would do is to take Mircera [a type of EPO], which is available and which is not easy to detect in urine and away you go. You need a blood test.”

Floyd has stated firmly he won't bend on his olympic style drug testing demand. Pacman will need to get over his "fear" of needles for this fight to go down...
Tell me again why he should agree to any tests other than the standard testing? The standard tests have been good enough for every other boxer on the planet since the inception of testing in the sport, so why wouldn't it be good enough for this fight?

Why did floyd agree to duckquiaos 10 million per pound penalty, ring size and glove size he agreed to all of ducks demands.

And lot's of people have been saying that duck is on roids and he's still not willing to clear his name,we're talking about a 60 mill worth test don't forget.

And the OST is the only true test all the other ones you can cheat your way through especially if you have an expert like ariza in your camp.

Mosley agreed to it so should ducky the ball is in his court.

I could be wrong here, correct me if I am, but didn't Idec actually state that Pacquiao was completely to blame for negotiations breaking down last Dec?

I thought he stated that twice?

No? Maybe I misread, I'll go over it again.

              Yep, I re-read the article.

Idec stated that twice. Maybe you mis-read?

Come on, you're smarter than this. The whole steroid nonsense started with Floyd's family so don't use that as a reason why Manny has to prove something. Mosley agreed cause he needed the pay and he has admitted to using in the past. Never in the history of this sport has anyone been required to take these tests so I see no reason why Pac should. If Floyd thinks he's a cheat then he should refuse the fight altogether. The ost demand just looks like a way out without losing face.

Also, the weight penalty is because he has a history of not making weight (Marquez fight) so the penalty is to ensure he comes in at the right weight. For the record I think Floyd has a 60 percent chance of winning in a Bhop style fight because I think it's a bad style matchup. I think Floyd is worried about the small chance of Pac winning and would rather avoid the fight rather than risk losing his "0." There's no other reason why a guy who is so obsessed with money and with such a defensive style who rarely gets hit would refuse this fight.

With regards to the quote by the doctor, it's not like he's going to go nuts on drugs for 24 days because he would have to take a test immediately after the fight in the locker room. Even if you think he's on something, he would have to stop for several days before the fight to piss clean after the fight, which means he would have maybe a week or two at best to be on something during those last 24 days. Do you really think this would make sense. Go your whole training camp without using, then for a week or two before the fight start using when you know you're going to be tested right after in the locker room. What possible benefit could come from using for such a short period anyways? It's amazing that people can't see how ridiculous the whole situation is.
