All I was hearing is that if Manny can't make 154 then stay at 147. Same should be said about Marquez then. If he can't fight a 147 division fighter then fight someone at 140.

Now if Manny wants to come down to 140, OK ... but he is the man that people want so it's not him who has to bend over backwards and come down to 140.

There is a difference between Floyd and Manny in that with Manny it will still be a bit more fair since Manny will probably come in at 142-144. So they don't even have to call for a catchweight in which nobody wants. Right?

For me, Mosley will put up the better challenge because he has a punchers shot and can withstand Manny's punches better. Marquez, will get KOed against this Manny.

Horrible, horrible, horrible logic but good attempt with an excuse to validate Pac's WW "pickings". btw, Mosley who's almost 40 last fought at 154 not 147. He's not even ranked at 147 just as Magarito wasn't ranked at 154.

You see, now that Mosley is nearly 40 he's NOT "too good" anymore and Pac knows now (not then) that he can beat him as he hasn't won a fight in nearly 2 years.

Anyway as horrible as your comment was I like your sig. Just one problem though. It would actually be pretty witty if it wasn't for the fact that Arum doesn't like to deal with Golden Boy let alone Floyd (who fired him) hence that entire list consists of Top Rank in house fighters besides Mayweather and Mosley (two guys Pac in fact "ducked" at least once).

Actually lets look further into the situation shall we? Lets ask ourselves this,

Was Mosley just "too good" for Pac so he "ducked" the #1 WW coming off a great KO victory? If Mosley is "too good" is Mayweather "too great"?

          Or

Is it that Mosley isn't Golden Boy anymore where as before he was and that is the true reason the fight didn't get made as we know Arum doesn't like to deal with Golden Boy? So Pac didn't duck him, just didn't want to work with Golden Boy.

Think about it, but be warned. Choosing one completely validates why Floyd and Pac have yet to fight. Stating the other will only expose that Pac didn't want to fight a "too good" Mosley and validates that Floyd is not the one ducking here... as everyone likes to preach like if it was the "thing to do". Silly fan boys.

But good attempt on your sig chief... At least the so called "kitty cat" last fought the #1 WW as Pac fought a #5 WW coming off a loss and then fought a non ranked disgraced cheater for a title that he now won't defend because it's vs an elite non top rank "cherry picked" fighter.

Re-evaluate the situation, there is more to it than being a hypocrite and only pointing at Mayweather. Pac's true colors are being exposed so Top Rank better choose wisely. Mosley and JMM AT 147 shouldn't even be an option but you know this and are better than that to think otherwise.

Well, if Pacquaio has never weighed 147 for a fight, why does it even matter. Marquez could come in at 140.1 and Pacquaio would probably weigh no more that 144 like he did for Margarito (which I think Pac should weigh about 142 for a fighter as fast as JMM). Anyway, my point is that is why JMM will fight even with a 147 limit. A) He knows he doesn't have to weigh in that high and B) He knows if Pacquaio weighs in that high he will be a little slower. In all actuallity, if Manny weighed 147 lbs, that would be to his detriment, unlike Mayweather who has fought at that weight and 154 lbs many more times in the past. I don't see what the big argument is, really...

of the three options, mosely is obviously the biggest draw, but the least deserving. i can believe that the sponsors would be intereseted in mosely cuz hes a much bigger name then berto or jmm. so i dont think arum is lying about that.

i also believe that mosely will be more then competitive then jmm would be. although berto would be the biggest challenge. still all three are sizable underdogs to pac

Mosley would be more competitive than JMM if JMM had to fight AT 147 and not 140. If the fight was at 140 I say JMM would be the toughest out of all of them.

Pac said he wants to fight AT 147, so Berto gives him the biggest challenge and most meaningful when talking about 147 IMO. Berto is the undisputed #2 WW. Second to Mayweather. Why Mosley and JMM AT 147 is an option is beyond me.
