although pirog would be a great fight, it AINT happening...
dibella said pirog isnt a big enough name. LOL.
looks like dibella is pulling a GBP/Top Rank move.
sergio is still nameless in a general sense... far from a household name.
no PPVs for him anytime soon.... sucks.

i wouldnt be surprised if his next 3 fights were cintron, angulo, vanes... all HBO regulars... cotto/margs would be nice (big names to add to the resume).... if shane is REALLY desperate to stay relevant, he can be sergio's stepping stone too.

Im not trying to shelter Pac from anyone. If Martinez wants to fight Pacquiao it needs to be at 147. Pac is the highest paid fighter in the sport and has the most accomplishments. He gets to call the shots and if Martinez wants a shot at the P4P king then he has to take a risk. Pac will fight ANYBODY at 147. Unlike Mayweather who ducked Cotto, Margarito, Clottey and Pwill by retiring to do WWF and Dancing with the stars LMAO

That's great Sergio, really is, but the money wasting ****s at HBO.

If they give you 3 dates, they won't be able to pay Berto a million more than he's worth twice next year.

To fight 3 times next year, you'd have to fight once off HBO. Stop being so loyal to a network that had there announcing teams favoring your opponent because they wanted you to lose.

martinez isn't gonna get pac (too small) or wifebeater (too cowardly). also, I doubt martinez gets cotto or margarito or JCC jr who all are gonna fight in Arum's 154 lbs round robin.

if martinez fights 3x next year, I want:

          1) AA at 160 lbs (if AA really quits the tourney and showtime allows him to fight outside the tourney)

          2) pwill in a rubbermatch at 160-155 lbs. pwill should want his revenge instead of running to 147 lbs like a punk bittch.

          3) angulo or kirkland. the fight with angulo will have to happen in argentina, canada, or mexico cause angulo is an illegal. but I don't really see that fight happening. hopefully kirkland can get some tune ups and knock off the ring rust soon.

I dont see Top Rank feeding Chavez Jr to him.

I also don't see Uncle Bob possibly destroying chances of a Cotto/Margs rematch by letting either of them near Martinez.

I see names like Angulo, Pavlik, Cintron, and maybe Martirosyan in Sergios future as he waits for Mayweather or Pac

Check Hook is right. If Sergio stops cherry picking on the smaller guys, he will get his three wishes for 2011. He should really concentrate on his own size or should be looking up not down. That's how you get respect. Don't be the next PW who's too afraid of fighting his own size but instead trying to get a fight with Mayweather and Pacquiao. Some fighters are just too obvious. DiBella is riding that lucky shot too much. Sergio probably gets waxed by Bute. He hasn't really proven that much in my eyes. If he wants to challenge Pacquiao, is he willing to go down to 147? He's not the cash cow. He had like 4000 people attending his fight. The bad thing though is that if he comes down to 147, he'll drained and will get destroyed. But really, these guys should be looking up, not down. This is why the upper weight classes are losing steam. Time for it to make some noise.

Martinez v Martirosyan would be a good match up same size. Bring it on HBO.

If Sergio wants to be p4p #1 he should go up in weight and fight bigger guys, the way Pac and Floyd have done during their careers instead of trying to make smaller guys come up and fight him.

A win over Bute or another Super Middleweight would really get people's attention.
