Would a Calderun tactic work for Cotto in a PAC rematch?

Calderun from start to finish as we know he gets KTFO early when he ****s with PAC. He had success although minimal when he box and move. I mean would Miguel eke a decision with this strategy from the first round on?

Do you realize how much more skilled Ivan is than Cotto? That's like saying "Do you think Bernard Hopkins' tactics would work for Margarito in a Pac rematch?"

Yeah but after being KD twice. I mean he would try that as soon as the bell rings...

It would be better for Cotto (if there was ever a rematch) to fight the way he did on round 8. Cotto is not bad on his feet, I also feel that he had a shitty corner. I'm not saying he could win but he would not look as bad as he did. He atleast has the ability to frustrate Pacquiao a little bit.

i think yes, as long as he does not get caught by a huge punch.

Cotto's problem is his willingness to exchange and not go to the body against some 2x as fast. Pac said Cotto had him hurt, but he played it off. Keep his jab pumping and don't let Pac beat him and he may have a chance. But Pac's beard is tough and he's elusive and slick.

No, Cotto doesn't have the quick footwork to do that, and he doesn't fight very well going backwards against a constant pressure. Pacquiao would eventually hurt him and start to collect rounds.
