I'm not sure I see your point..? Why would Pac take such a risk fighting Martinez just to defend the 154 belt? If the fight happens, which I don't think it will, it would have be for the 160 title. Otherwise, It's not worth the risk for Pac. I don't think Pac should play with fire above WW. From now on, he should keep his fights at 147 or below.

Why Manny should be the one taking a risk? that dude is the best boxer in the world who just had another big payday and more than a million ppv buys. if Sergio wants a big payday, fight Manny Pac. haters already said Sergio and Margarito had the same weight on fight night so it shouldnt be a problem for Sergio to come down to 150 lbs right?

if Sergio really want a real competition pick someone his own size or pick someone bigger than him like in a Super Middleweight. because Manny's team already said before the Sergio vs PW fight that he was going back to 147 lbs.

I watched the fight 2-3 times when I was making a prediction for Pavlik vs Martinez. Also, I absolutely can't stand Cintron, but the truth is his knee was up at the 8-9 count. He was talking to the ref and getting up....so it's foolish to claim he was hurt. Now if you wanna say he should have a TKO loss of being a dumb@ss then cool...but my point is this; dude wasn't hurt at all in that fight....nor could Martinez legitamitly knock him out....so again, without Manny being a dumb@ss ala Williams, and walking into a punch....I highly doubt Martinez KO's Pacquiao. UD maybe...but not destroy him like most on NSB keep implying.

Well I admit Cintron was hurt....but I meant he wasn't in serious trouble...ala Margarito against Mosley or Lopez against Mtagwa.

Eh... Manny looks great against those kind of opponents because Manny is great don't get it twisted.

Bradley wouldn't look as great as Manny did against those same opponents at the weight Manny fought. Same goes for Berto, and as skilled and good JMM is same goes for him,

Uhh... I didn't actually. Beating Antonio Margarito isn't the same as beating Sergio Martinez. That's not trying to down play Manny's accomplishments. It's just the truth. And even if I did, so what. Martinez KO'd Cintron and was cheated, hahaha you didn't even see that fight. You've been exposed as a poster! Martinez clearly KO'd Cintron and Cintron lied and said it was a headbutt!

True story. His record should be 47-1-2 not 46-2-2. The draw with Cintron should have been a win and the loss to Williams should have been a draw.

I honestly feel like Martinez would have the advantage. He's bigger, stronger, hits harder, more technical (able to do more things in the ring) than Pacquiao. Manny is a great fighter and I take nothing away from him, but this is a bad matchup for him.

Yes, there is something else. Sergio is more technically sound than Manny Pacquiao. Martinez is much craftier and able to beat you in MANY more ways than Manny.
