Naw i think he is the smaller man plus he is moving up in weight and when he lost to agbeko his power didnt really show. It might of not gone up in weight with him. Mares is going to counter all night and catch off balance for a ko.

Hopefully that doesnt happen. Mares been sparring with Ponce De leon whose bigger and I believe hits way harder than Darchinyan. Then again Mares did kind of gass in the mid rounds against Yhonny but Vic doesnt posses that workhorse swarming skill that Perez has. Vic is still wide open when he throws his 1-2's as Donaire capitalize off it with a left hook. I got Mares still though.

Damn I haven't seen a Vic fight in a while, really looking forward to this.

I like Mares, he's respectful and seems humble. Its going to be hard to see him get KO'd, but that's what I'll be rooting for as a Darchinyan fan.
