but they don't want to seem to come into this thread.
Manny's natural weight is really 126-130, he had to transform himself physically in order to ascend to these higher weights but him naturally he's 126-130, he spent many years in those weights working his way up and if he wasn't comfortable there he would have just kept moving on, that was his weight at one point and that point was a longer stretch than just 2 years which is how long he took to go from Lightweight Champion to the just under Jr Middleweight champion, he is also talking retirement after 3 more fights and 1 of those 3 fights happened last weekend because if memory serves me correctly he said that before the fight with Margarito.

my point is that in 2 years it doesn't out do the fact that for the last few years before that he was wrecking dudes at lower weights, he put on the weight and he did good just like how Floyd Mayweather put on weight and did good too but his NATURAL weight is 130, we all know that and the fact that he can't make that kind of weight anymore today doesn't change that.

No one is asking him to fight Martinez or Williams idiot, the only criticism I see is the catch weight issue, rightfully so. Here is the gist of it - if Manny considers a ridiculous catch weight demand, don't bother at all. Manny should focus on 140-147.

yeah, what Floyd SHOULD have done was to fight Oscar for his 154lb title at 150 lbs max, and then demand that Taylor fight him at 154.5 for the middleweight title. THEN maybe you would be on his sack too..........

Its better to ask a career jr. welterweight to come up to 147?

Not a different scenario at all.

You guys just like to throw excuses out for everything he does.

Its ok for Floyd to win a belt at jr. middle and not defend it,

but Sergio Martinez knocks out Paul Williams and Manny Pacquiao needs to fight him.

I guess the title "pound for pound number 1" only matters if you're not Floyd Mayweather Jr. depending on the circumstances.

Manny has a 154 pound title. Maybe he should defend it at 154 pounds?? Is Manny going to defend his 154 pound title?? At least Floyd won his allowing the other guy to weigh 154.

This is the bottom line......MP has no business being in the ring with SM. No one should expect him to face Martinez.....but Pac and his people saying they would fight him at 150 is a slap in the face.

Martinez would murk MP at 156+.......he would prob beat Floyd @ that weight to.

            Manny vs Floyd
            Manny vs Berto
            Manny vs Shane

Any of these fights will be ok.......in that order please.

              oh god help us...

If you were watching boxing at that time, you would know that 154 was the WORST ****ing division in boxing. The best fighter was considered to be Travis Simms, who got beat by... ohhhh ... wait... Joachim Alcine. The other big name was Cory Spinks, if you can call the a big name lol. Floyd would have get ****d by the medias if he chose to fight Spinks. At the same time, Hatton just destroyed Castillo and eeeeeeeeeeeverybody wanted to see a Floyd vs Hatton fight.

And stop that bull**** with Taylor, in 2007 he was fighting Wright at 168 lbs, are you kidding me.

One of the worst damn thread I've ever seen.
