I agree it was in bad taste but everything that comes out of roachs mouth is in bad taste too. roach is a classless guy too. he just happens to be a popular classless guy .team margs attack towards roach was viscious, but I wouldnt think clearly if I had a freddie roach *****ting on me relentlessly either. his disease is terrible but I cant say he doesnt deserve to be insulted. the guy has no respect to pacs opponents, whom by the way have showed nothing BUT respect towards pac and his team. I dont feel sympathy for freddie roach the guy the other day said " he just beats another mexican" that was the last straw for me.

Margarito ripped a ****zine page because it had Pacquiao's picture on it. That's also not exactly a sign of respect. It's fine not to feel sympathy for anyone, but there's always a line when it comes to trash talking. Again, once it goes too far, you're responsible for any type of criticism and further trash talking.

because boxers need to rehydrate to make up for the weight loss that will occur during the fight. why do you think just about every boxer tend to be 10+ pounds heavier on fight nite?
having said that, pac usually comes in on fight nite anywhere 3 to 5 pounds heavier.

if margarito came into the fight still weighing 150, then we can say drain weight fighter...if margarito comes in at 160+, i dont wanna hear *****s saying margarito was drain weight...drain weight at 160+? WTF!!!

the catchweight was implemented mainly to prevent margarito from getting as close to 170 pounds come fight nite, so instead of 170, margarito will come in at 160-165....which is still a huge advantage, but not as huge as it would be if margarito came in close to 170

Right, everyone has forgiven everyone on Resto's team for what happened to Collins even after Resto and Lewis served two years in prison and both lost their boxing licenses. Everyone has forgiven Donte Stallworth for killing Mario Reyes after serving 24 days of a 30 day sentence and was suspended a full season. If you want to say Roach deserves to be insulted, how the hell could you not say Margarito doesn't deserve to be?

Look, I give Margarito the benefit of the doubt. I believe he didn't use those handwraps earlier or knew about them against Mosley, but I just don't give a damn about how people think they should lay off Margarito for that.

Roach is just trying to plant a little doubt in Margarito's head but I don't think the weight is in issue in this fight at all. You can't expect Manny to weigh in as much as Margarito if he doesn't have to. It is what it is and Margarito will always be the larger man between the two. No excuses, this fight is fair.
