There have been some insiders who believe Margarito stuggled down to make the weight. Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, is one of them.

No **** Roach!!!!! Cuz your friend Pac is making a living these days based on catch weights... It is ridiculous that 1 fighter isn't even fighting IN the weight class while the other was forced to suck down to four lbs under it. And it is even in turn more ridiculous that Roach would suggest that Margarito might be drained.... Isn't that what you wanted all along?!?!?!?

If he was drained for Mosley why wasn't he drained for Cotto? Margarito was beat by team Mosley's game plan, so quit with the excuses. I do believe Roach is hoping Margarito is drained because that's been their main plan against opponents so far, to increase Manny's stamina and strength with peds, and seal the deal by weight draining fighters, but everything that has a beginning will have an end; one day this plan will backfire...i am just hoping its not tonight because i really want to see Manny fight Floyd.

people are angry because thats not all he said, hes been hammerring the whole handwrap issue relentlessly, its a dead-horse issue and it serves no purpose other than to piss off margarito fans and spit in their face. if margarito is such scum why fight him? go and fight a legit champ. roach insults the fans intteligence. yesterday he said on 24-7 "theres no one left to fight"no challenges" really??? theres plenty of guys left for pac to fight. they just refuse to step up to a legitamate challenge they dont want pacroid getting his ass kicked at this stage in his career things are just too good for them rt now. I can name 10 guys rt off top of my head that are itching to fight pac, woul d make better fights than this one competetivley and financially and pac prolly woul lose to half of them. roach is the scumbag. nobody likes an arrogant prick.roach has no respect for pacs opponents he talks too much theyre overmatched, pac should win easily thats not enough???

I agree it was in bad taste but everything that comes out of roachs mouth is in bad taste too. roach is a classless guy too. he just happens to be a popular classless guy .team margs attack towards roach was viscious, but I wouldnt think clearly if I had a freddie roach *****ting on me relentlessly either. his disease is terrible but I cant say he doesnt deserve to be insulted. the guy has no respect to pacs opponents, whom by the way have showed nothing BUT respect towards pac and his team.
