    Freitas isnt a *****

I know this is old but i am annoyed at Freitas being called a ***** for quitting I remember people did. You guys dont even know what was wrong. There could have been some problem. After McClellan quit people including commentators were questioning his heart saying his heart couldnt take it whatever, but when he collapsed that shut the idiots up. Freitas is known to have a lot of heart and you are not in his mind and cant tell whether continuing would have hurt him. McClellan didnt take as much punishment as reports make it out to be but look at him. You are idiots for saying he is a ***** and armchair idiots at that. So if you can you fat prick get up off your armchair and stop criticising others.

I've never called him a *****, but after his last two performances, I think it's fair to call him overrated. He's just a notch below guys like Corrales, Morales, probably the Diazes.

If he beats Julio Diaz in March, maybe these last 2 will look like bumpy spots. I know he holds a (controversial) win over Casamayor. But his record is filled with more no-names than most guys ranked around him in his weight class.

We'll see how he looks on HBO in March; that's when he's tentatively fighting Julio Diaz.

That's true and it might be smarter to quit before getting seriously injured and possibly having your career stopped for good. I'm always a bit annoyed at people (including fighters) who say u're a quitter when u are injured and quits to preserve your health. I call it being smart personally....
boxing fans enjoy blood and guts and I do too, but there's a life after boxing (unless u don't mind finishing like a vegetable on a wheelchair) and I find it a sadistic to enjoy watching a guy getting totally wrecked for 12 rounds because he's refusing to quit. That's exactly how deadly accidents happen, much more than on a 1 punch KO.

He is a very very exciting fighter.

Yes exactly it is disgraceful the attitudes shown after the Corrales fight and the tough-talk was pathetic.

Are you talking about Freitas or Diaz?

I've seen Freitas a handful of times and JUAN Diaz, but I've never seen a Julio Diaz fight. I look forward to the March fight vs. freitas.

I think less people would have gotten on him if he'd stayed down for 10 rather than getting up, then quitting. It's just the perception of an athlete without heart...but I saw that fight, and trust me, it wasn't going to get any better. Corrales was really hurting him, so it's not like Freitas was going to rally.

Who said he had a problem, or are you just trying to justify your boy quitting. The McClellan situation doesnt happened that much and nothing still has happened to Frietas. He came back pretty quick for someone with a problem. I dont care which way you try to slice it he quit, and he did it because he knew that he was going to lose for the first time and also get KTFO. He is a fraud who beats up on cream puffs that's why he never wanted to fight Floyd. If Floyd, Zoo, Hopkins, or Morales had done the same thing people wouldve killed them. Do you guys remember when Freitas opponent Corrals faught Floyd. He was getting killed and his dad threw in the towel and Chico went crazy and said I deserve to have the right to go out on my back. You should never quit. You either lose or get KO.

When Freitas was coming up through the ranks, I was so impressed by what he was doing that I named my dog, "POPO".

Soon after Freitas showed in a number of fights that he was not quite what many thought of him, my dog died.

I don't really know what to make of that!

I sorely miss my dog though.
