Speaking with Gavin Glicksman of The Sun, WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan stuck up for his close friend, David Haye. He says the WBA heavyweight champ is not avoiding a fight with either of the Klitschko brothers. Khan gave the opinion that a lot of people misunderstand the business side of boxing and believe Haye is ducking the Klitschkos, but in reality the contracts terms are the root issue.

I agree. I hope Vitali gets in there and knocks Haye out, but I don't think Haye's ducking them. He's trying to do like Ricky Hatton against Pac and keep all the British PPV money, which Klitschko's manager has admitted is far far more money than Wlad or Vitali bring to the table, due to their fights being on network TV instead of PPV

Hayes looking to keep his fan's money in his pocket. I'm sorry but if K2 can't live with this I don't see the fight being made. Haye can fight the likes of Holyfield, Tua, ect in England, take 70%, and make almost as much as he would if he split it 50/50 with the Klitschkos.

Business is business guys. The person bringing the most money to the table usually gets the bigger cut. This is just like Pac/Mayweather, if everyone would put their egos aside and get down to business this **** would be made already.

Khan isn't. He's fighting Maidana next - you know? the big puncher he's supposedly ducking?

and you never know, he could be right about haye - none of us have seen the contracts for klitschko-haye. Having said that, i dont think haye wants the fight at the moment, and Khan is just sticking up for him because they're mates

the klitschkos are clearly greedy,and also insecure.what wimps chumps ask for rematches between both of them!,so confident in thier own abilities aye?.pfft.

Haye is getting good practice for klits in this fight vs a farce,and hes guna get even more popular in the uk,and will earn even more money and exsposure in the build up to fighting klitschkos.

Haye should agree to 3 rematch clauses becuase when he knocks them both out they wont want to have too fight him again!.


Haye should slap them with a roy vs bhop 2 style contract,no reason why the shouldnt agree with that.

either the winnner gets the others split in tv money,or the winner gets 60 % and the loser 40.

Also put in a bonus if either wins by knock out!.

If i were Haye i would have some kind of public exposure of the contract negotiations with proof of whos being difficult so the klitschkos can be publically exsposed for what they are and so they cant carry on thier lies.
