Comments Thread For: Team Alexander: On Our Side, Bradley Bout For Both Belts

Kevin Cunningham, manager and trainer of WBC junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander, wants to make it clear that his boxer's upcoming clash with Timothy Bradley, the WBO champion, is still a unification bout on their end. The HBO-televised fight takes place on January 29.

i think the restraining order will dictate floydies sentence...break the restraining order, floydie goes to jail immediately til court date...complies with the restraining order, floydie will do only a year in jail, then some other provisions such as community service and pyschiatric help, etc...as well as to sign to fight pac within a 6 month period ;o)

I know the belts are a bunch of BS but in this case I think bradley should just pay the sanctioning fees. If he was as big as a floyd maywather or a pacquiao, sure the hell with the belts, but still being relatively unknown it sure would look good for him to be a unified champion.

And as a fan, of course it's just going to get annoying because we'll now see probably some undeserving guys with the IBF and who knows what will happen to the WBO/WBC belts if bradley wins but refuses to pay.

Oh man! Bradley doesn't want to pay the fee. Has me
hoping that Alexander wins but I don't think that will
be the case. These title organizations suck ass for doing
          this lame BS.

so if Bradley wins, will the 2 guys who's names i cant remember who are fighting an eliminator to become the mandatory for the WBC, be fighting for the vacant belt instead?

this article has nothing to do with floyd, unless your talking about bradley pulling a floyd move in saying F the belts and keeping the money. floyd did that with the mosley fight.. for the most part whoever tginks floys is going to jail, like the dummy who wrote somethin above, has no clue how the united states court system works.. read my posts, ive been saying this..

Bradley's doing the right thing, let's not forget the WBC stripped Bradley for having the nerve of beating Kendall Holt for the WBO Belt. The only way these sanctioning bodies will learn is if you say **** your belt, we don't need it.

To be fair, the WBC stripped him because he chose to fight his WBO mandatory, Nate Campbell, instead of his WBC mandatory, Devon Alexander, both of which were due at the same time.

But year, **** the WBC, **** the WBO.

                    WAR TIM BRADLEY
