The way Williams kept getting up after constant blows by Vitali earns him some of my respect. He had the heart to continue the fight, if the ref wouldn't have stopped the fight. Took some heart, I give him more respect.

I think youre all forgetting that Tyson blew out his knee against Williams, therefore we did not see a true evaluation of the new Iron Mike Tyson trained by the boxing guru Freddie Roach. If Tyson loses one more time then yes we can say FOR A FACT he should hang it up. Right now however I'm going to give Mike the benefit of the doubt. Peace.

I do think that knee injury affected him but i dont think that it affected him as much as people say. Tyson imho is a shot fighter. In last ten years he lost every big fight What gives people confidence to say he is gonna beat Big V.


P.S Dempsey, as one of the biggets Klitschko doubters do you think that he improved since his lost to Lewis?

I didn't see the fight(too bad I missed a great one) but from what I've read and seen(pictures on bbcnews.com) Danny Williams fought a hard fight and got up from the canvas everytime he was knocked down. That's the type of fighter you want to see in boxing, a fighter who will withstand alot of punishment and come back for more. It would have been easy for him to stay down for the count and collect his paycheck. For that reason I have alot of respect for him now. Remember when Tyson was knocked out by him, he just lied there on the canvas. He could've got up but didn't. We need more heavyweights in the division with a D.Williams mentality.
