Damn people hate on Rahmman a lot on this board. Well I see it like this...If Vitali would have gone against Rahman right after he destroyed williams then I would say Rahman wouldnt have a chance. The guy rescheduled the fight 3 times after that though. He must be afraid of Rahman for some reasons. I think Rahman can hang in there with Vitali if he sticks to his jab. It will be hard against the giant though. Vitali has done well against other big fighters with a big punch..sanders, williams etc. so I see it coming down to a KO for VK after Rock gives him hell for maybe a couple of rounds, but gets stuck with a shot.

And not only that, but Vitali had an OLD, LAID OFF, OUT OF SHAPE, UNINSPIRED Lennox Lewis in front of him. I think it's hilarious that Vitali has a bigger following than Rahman, despite being unable to beat Lewis that night.
Vitali retired Lewis, Rahman just got his ass kicked in the rematch, the same way Maskaev beat his ass, and Ruiz, and Holyfield. My god he's garbage, I dont think you saw the Monte Barret fight, this man is going to get ****ed in the first 4 rounds.

I was paraphrasing something DiegoFuego said,Originally posted by DiegoFuegoThis fight is going to be a complete dogfight, and Rahman will land the punch that takes Vitali out. Finally, we will have a true heavyweight champion. Finally, the heavyweight division will be cleaned up.
Oh, and I take that back, you're already a ****head. Having said that, you wouldn't deliberately take my post out of context unless you were working on becoming an *******.Last edited by Torino; 08-14-2005, 08:56 AM.

...Your so right. He was hurt with some punches that weren't much of anything from Barrett. If he stalks Vitali like that he is dead meat in the early going. I am more convinced than ever that Vitali is getting one of the easiest fights he could possibly get in Rahman. The Rock is going to come to Vitali just like Krik Johnson did and I predict a firts or second round KO now. Also, Barrett didn't do anyting to push the action. The most he did was in the last round when he had Rahman in serious trouble. Too little too late.

1) Vitali never ducked anyone. King is trying to keep Vitali inactive and not fight anyone but Rahman for his first fight back. Vitali just wanted to fight someone in the meantime until Rahman was ready to fight him. However, King/Rahman said it's ok, they'll be ready to fight Vitali in Sept. when Vitali is coming back. But guess what, (proving King/Rahman are straight up bull****ters) now they say they won't fight Vitali until December. They wasted Vitali's time. Vitali could have fought rock or someone in the meantime.
2) Who would duck HASIM RAHMAN. The dude got beat by an 83 year-old Evander Holyfield. Yeah, I'm sure Vitali is scared of Rahman. Nash, you need to use your head, or someone else's if yours cannot figure this one out.
You are just a straight-up liar or totally biased in some way to say Vitali ducked Rahman. That's complete bull****, dude. Big ass dude has injuries and wants to get his feet wet while Rahman is ****ing around but has to go to court to do so because King doesn't like it and you say he is ducking?
I call bull****.
...That's exactly what I said would happen. They acted like they would be ready in September knowing they were going to try and pull the stall to keep VK inactive. Who the **** is King to say what the WBC will allow? Oh yeah, he basically owns the WBC.

....I am so confident in a Vitali victory of Rahman now. Rahman has got nothing to bother VK with.

Originally posted by DiegoFuegoI disagree and here's why. If you know ANYTHING about Rahman, it's that he is ridiculously talented and can fight several styles of fights, but he is also the most inconsistent heavyweight maybe ever. For this guy to knock out Lennox Lewis but lose a decision to John Ruiz is absurd! While Rahman is my 2nd favorite heavyweight, I would NEVER bet money on a Rahman fight in all my life because you never know what's going to happen with him. He SHOULD beat almost everyone he's ever stepped into the ring with, but he doesn't. I'll put it this way. If Rahman shows up, Vitali is dead.

rahman has sum good power, and can get a shot in, but, he has motivation problems, and not the greatest chin, so he will land a few pnches against vitali. but in the end he will be on the deck
