Kids please, Paul Williams is taking a huge challenge going up to middleweight and trying to win the lineal title.

The guy is 6'3", has already fought Maravilla, and not long ago called out Hopkins at 170. And, he is not "going up" to middleweight. Nobody has EVER taken Paul Williams seriously at welter.

We may see Paul at 168, but what kind of fool would he be looking for a fight there right now?

Who said anything about now? He has a bigger frame than most of those guys, that creampuff should have been lining up when the competition was first conceived.

He needs to do something, ANYTHING, to try to make a name for himself.

Calling a guy a coward when he is 7" shorter and at least 2-3 weight divisions below where you should be fighting..... doesn't sit well with me.

He is a circus-freak, like Valuev. He is obviously more skilled than Valuev, but he is not a top fighter, which is why he is hanging around the welterweight division like a bad smell. And Valuev, like Williams, only achieved because of his physical advantages.

If pacman or money wanna hit 155 for a chance at the MW championship, Martinez or Williams would be insane to not grab it. You do realize that money is part of the equation don't you.

Well, Manny is about to compete at 154, against a cheating bum who got KTFO by an old past-prime welterweight. I don't see what that has to do with Williams calling out welters, when everybody can plainly see that he does not belong at 147, regardless of his freakish ability to enter the ring lookin like a garden rake?

Williams is a jack-of-all trades, and a master of none.

If Williams was the real deal he would have settled on a division, cleaned it out, tried to get some weight behind his punches, and at least made an attempt to solidify his standing in the eyes of most fan's/promoters.

Im not arguing that. Of course if you can make the weight you can make the fight. All im saying is he calls himself the most feard but yet he's not calling out the guys who weigh a few more lbs then him. He fighting at Middle weight weighing 160 and Dirrell and them are weighing 167. Instead of him going down 13 pounds he too scared to go up 7 and take on people his size....He's a coward and thats why he gets no credit.

Paul won't beat Martinez so he is going to be last in line to land a Mayweather fight.

Floyd will fight a tune up early 2011 before taking on a big name anyway. Look for Floyd to fight one of the 140 pounders to get the cobwebs out.
