Only ******s care about drug testing.
Texas is an easy place to make fights with no bull****, instead of complaining you should be happy since we've had no fights so far in 2010.

I won't claim to be an expert here, but there must be a reason why the tests in Texas are so wanting.
I mean, what about the trainers and boxers based in that state? Why aren't they petitioning for tests?
As they are the people directly affected by the current testing status, why aren't they clamoring or petitioning for better or more stringent tests?
Do they (the boxers/trainers) have any say at all to what rules and regulations their commission applies?

just to clarify.
Doing so, Fighter "A" can enter into the agreement with Fighter "B" knowing everything.
However to your point ,maybe "A" or "B" or both are juicing, both should disclose anything in their system that might give an advantage over the other. The subjective nature of people, won't allow this to happen therefore making this situation unethical.

honestly, since when did the TS suddenly became a diehard antidrug crusader? is he worried also of the hundreds of fights that happen each month across the USA that doesnt do OST or floyd type testing? i guess not...
floyd left you *****s hangin.. he's on vacation. he didnt really care about cleaning up the sport. he was just afraid of one particular fighter. and now all you gullible *****s think he's a crusader.

Denying a fight that epic is suicidal for the town (not to say Dallas isn't well off), my point is, the state commission has a huge responsibility to ensure the safety of the fighter, IMO it should be a fiduciary obligation to the fighter therefore ensuring adequate rules & testing policy & procedures.
