You guys are letting the media-spin play with your imaginations

All roach is doing is pumping up manny.. like if I told my fighter.. "if you don't win this fight, your girl is gonna leave you."

Manny has already established himself as a good politician and he's proved his campaign agenda that he's in it to help the poor people- and he has.

He's not stopping until he's president. I know this because I've seen him with the same work ethic towards politics than what he shows in boxing. After he retires, it's gonna be 100% politics.

I'm not buying this BS, Manny is ready and Margarito is ready. What we will see is Pacquiao vs DLH part 2.
dude you really are far too skeptical about things sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. your not taking into account that cotto was unbeaten at that point and also just because mosley beat margs who is 5ft 9 and much stronger than manny, doesnt mean manny will do the same. manny hasnt shown any real ko power above 140lbs, despite his blinding speed.mosley has a totally different style and dimensions than pac does. styles make fights, and its safe to say tghis will be a war because of that.delahoya did nothing . margs owns the world record for most punches thrown.1675 marg will be the opposite of what hes faced latley, highly aggressive fighters have fared much better against pac.

Pacquiao breaks training partner’s nose in sparring

MANILA, Philippines – If the broken nose of Manny Pacquiao's training partner is an indication of his readiness to fight Mexico’s Antonio Margarito on November 13, then the Fighter of the Decade is ready to rumble, according to his boxing coach.

Freddie Roach said the Filipino superstar actually sent one of his training partners packing by breaking his nose during one of their sparring sessions last week.

“Manny broke his nose so he’s out,” the trainer said in a report by Philboxing.com's Eddie Alinea. “I pity him (training partner). Actually I know him having been recommended by one of my boys here. I don’t want to mention his name because I don’t want to hurt the feeling of the guy.”

Roach said the sparring partner was an African-American who recently joined their camp. He was among the boxers helping Pacquiao prepare against the taller Margarito.

“His (Pacquiao's) performance in sparring only means, he’s ready to fight to win. Manny will knock him (Margarito) out,” the Hall-of-Fame trainer said.

On Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila), Pacquiao sparred 9 rounds with training partners Rashad Halloway, David Rodela and Rey Beltran at the Wild Card Gym.

“Gaya ng dati, hindi ko sila bibiguin. Muli ay iniaalay ko sa kanila ang la**** ito. (Just like in the past, I will never let my fans down. Again, I dedicate this fight to them),” Pacquiao said.

“I’m almost there and if the fight is gonna be held this weekend, I’ll be 100% okay,” said Pacquiao.

“Ayos na ako. Pakisabi lang sa ating mga kababayan na huwag silang mag-alaala sa mga balitang half-hearted ang ensayo ko. (I’m already OK. Please tell our compatriots not to worry about reports I’m being half-hearted in my training.),” he added.

        Roach couldn’t agree more.

I read he stood against Roy Chongbian of the politically entrenched Chongbian Clan. (wikipedia)

I really think the whole congressman business is a sorry state of affairs. Look at the income of the average Filipino, its not exactly Hong Kong over there is it?

I have a lot of respect for how the Filipino people got rid of Marcos but this love affair with Manny is quite likely to eat them up inside. I find it quite sinister that a sportsman, a boxer, is elected to an office like this with no opposition.

He may be loved today but I would like to know what he has done for the Phillipines (in government and off his own bat) other than make Freddie Roach a Filipino citizen.

And I'm not saying this to hate on Manny. I'm just asking and hoping someone can set me right on the political work he is doing.

I see a lot of people keep screaming the bold. My question to all people fans of Manny or not. Shane Mosley never failed a drug test either so how credible and good are the tests that you all keep screaming that Manny and many other boxers have passed?

To keep saying Manny never failed a test when a known drug user passed all those same tests with flying colors is not a reason to keep screaming about not failing those tests.
That is the equvilent of getting straight A's in high school but you are in all of the special ed classes!!!!!

Good post. The bold is ALWAYS, ALWAYS avoided UNLESS of course people are trying to degrade Mayweather's win over Mosley. It's funny how people like to say "Pac's NEVER failed a test"... well neither did Mosley. We all know the system has failed. If Pac was behind these blood tests, many would be flip flopping and jumping ship like no other and DEMANDING Floyd to take them (assuming he avoided them like Pac did aka "I hate needles, I feel drained etc etc etc)......

The reason of su****ion isn't because Pac has failed or hasn't failed a test. Its the others like Mosley who in fact took PEDs and DIDN'T fail (EVER). The reason of su****ion weather or not Pac is on PED's isn't because he's avoided these tests. Its because the people around him (Roach and Ariza) have been involved several times with PEDs. Ariza has even come clean, saying Pac doesn't even know what he takes.....

There IS reason to believe Pac could be on something. The system has failed, Mosley has proven this. So to say Pac has never failed is contradicting and hypocritical.....

People just want to "ignorantly" ignore (or be ignoramus) by turning a blind eye and "cop out" with a "he's never failed a test".... When the test has IN FACT proven to fail. So is there ever really a "pass" or "fail" to be expected? Mosley could answer that quit well.... only after being told on.....

Is Mayweather being a tattle tail?

So... where was USADA in the Mosley-Segura fight? Are they just Floyd`s employees then? Where was the crusade? Only for Floyd`s fights? Don`t you see the hypocrisy in all these looming at you yet you choose not to see?

Why is it that when I post these questions, *****s seem to disappear?
