What negotiaions? He already signed a deal with Shotime to take part in the tournament. Him and his team knew the deal and probably thought they could be smart asses and find a way to avoid the Ward fight, pricks.

HBO dropped Dirrell, and now hopefully Shotime will. Also Ward is no angel either, he knows the deal.

Are you serious? It makes perfect sense. It couldn't have worked out any better. Except they didn't expect people to be a little more skeptical.

Dirrell was just conveniently punched while down by a hard hitter, and looked like he was really hurt. Of course they would use that excuse. Abraham almost handed it to them on a silver platter. Its much more believable than making up a totally new back injury or something. I would have used the same excuse.

Not to mention that if anybody remembers Dirrell already used the back injury crap once before, where they delayed and moved the Abraham fight from California to Detroit.

Why are you guys saying it will end his career?

If all he did was SAY he had neurological problems then as soon as he gets showtime off his back he can "miraculously recover". I have neurological problems, I had an infection and took an antibiotic called Levaquin for it - the antibiotic has a sideeffect of permanent nerve damage and I'm the lucky guy who got it. You can't test this stuff, it can come or go, it can be lifelong, the mechanisms are barely understood (part of why levaquin is still on the market).

Aside from some serious, serious inherited disorders and terminal illnesses, the only symptom of most neurological injuries is the person who has them saying "ouch!", dizziness, etc, internal symptoms.

The main medications prescribed are stuff like pregablin that just calms the nerves down, doesn't actually heal anything.

In other words as soon as you say you no longer have any symptoms, they consider you healthy.

As long as he never had anything and a doctor clears him to fight he won't suffer any setbacks. He could just come back and say he's cleared to fight. I seriously doubt any commission would use s verbal statements on TV or radio as legal evidence that he's unfit to fight, unless they actually see something with an MRI.

              Yes/No?

Either way this guy sucks, Abraham didn't cause that, it was just a normal punch with a knee touching the canvas.

I heard from a very reliable source (Ronnie Nathanielsz) that AA was in this all along.

He was paid to hit Dirrell late so the "brain damage" could be used as an excuse for the Ward fight.

Don't ask me to post a link.

                I said heard not read.

Showtime should sue him and his entire dumb ass family. His cousin or who ever the **** is that hinted at the fight not even happening. What a joke, his whole family is a joke. Not once did they talk about his neurological problems being the reason the fight was delayed, they keep talking about the location being the big problem.

And than they also hint at the fact they think this fight isn't a big enough money fight for them right now.

I remembered that on the forum a man said that he knows someone from Dirrell camp. This told him that a fight between Direll and Ward is not going to happen.

Both Ward and Dirrell didn't want to fight each other. Showtime then threaten to sue them because they had signed a contract when they entered the tournament. I'm not saying that Dirrell is lying but it is kind of su****ious that all of a sudden he wants out.
