if DLH could absorb 5 to land 1 for 8 full rounds without getting KTFO then i think Marg can do AT LEAST 10!! Marg has a granite chin! Marg better hope he KO's pac somewhere between rounds 1-10. if not Pac can close the show with a TKO in the final rounds.

But it would not surprise me at all to see Marg's come out with both guns blazing trying to hunt Manny down right from the first bell, but then to see Manny walking down Margarito late in the fight.

Any maybe I'm being cynical here.....
but it would also not surprise me if Margarito did not have enough to keep Manny off him late in the fight. Two reasons..... no "edge", and getting absolutely tattooed for 10-11 rounds.

I think Pacquiao power is overrated but thats just me I mean he never knocked out Oscar he didn't knockout Cotto and didn't knockout Clottey I mean he knocked out Hatton but so did Floyd and people say Floyd can't punch so none of this leads me to believe that Pacquiao can or will knockout Margarito I do think Pacquiao will win a wide UD but knockout Margarito I just don't see that happening

That's a great point. If that fight woulda continued for 1 more round then ODLH would have sustained a worse KO than the time Bhop taxed that liver and had Oscar squirming on the canvas like a stuck pig. The finishing shot from Manny would have probably been a full leveraged left that had Ricky all but swallowing his tongue (literally). Or hell even worse because at least Ricky got put into Ambien land from only 2 rds of beating, the Oscar one would have been at the conclusion of being softened up for over half the fight.

So yeah you're absolutely right b/c anyone that truly knows boxing will not point to semantics or technicalities and just say that Oscar only sustained a TKO loss from Pac; the dynamics of that beating and what was gonna inevitably happen allows us to call a spade a spade and simply say Pac did KO Oscar, ostensibly speaking of course. Great catch there in clarifying the angle that a previous poster was trying to spin.

looking at the shane vs. tony fight, shane landed shots easily and I dont think in that fight shane is as fast as manny will be(will see due to training). manny may have a little less power than shane but if he is faster he will land more and tony being the bigger guy is gonna be coming forward and it'll be like cars crashing head on with pacs fist to margos chin. Now, about knocking out these other fighters. On Oscar, did you see his face? pac unloaded but didnt go for the kill yet still being cautious of the bigger guy. He didnt have to knock oscar out he made him give up. so I dont know which is worse. Cotto, pac knocked him down with his right(first). the second one got cotto dancing LOL!....and he never recovered from that. He ran the rest of the fight to save face from getting put to sleep and didnt give up cuz he knows how much shame oscar had doing so. margo couldnt even do that to cotto he just punished him and cotto gave a knee. Now thats just a volume puncher with okay power. LOL! floyd and hatton? I think the corner ring post helped him little bit there hahaha....

Pacquiao KOs Margarito. Whoopty Doo. Marg was just KOed 2 fights ago by Mosley. Manny loves fighting losers. If not a loser he fights guys who are fading.

Pacquiao fans don't care if he fights a bumb off the street. As long as Manny KO's somebody... ANYBODY... his fans just want a reason to scream at the top of their lungs and call Manny the best. Pacquiao fans are not intelligent enough to gauge the quality or condition of his opponents. They don't even know the fighters he faces. After they announce who Manny is fighting Pacquiao fans have to Wikipedia the fighter. All they know is Manny and that's all they want to know. They will not watch boxing after Manny retires because they're all just groupies who are happy that a Filipino is called by some to be the #1 P4P boxer.
