Why doesn't Wladimir give Haye what he wants?

I am not really understanding this impasse they've reached.

Wlad wants the fight for the belt. (He wants all the belts)

Haye wants the fight for the money. (He's happy with one belt)

Haye and Booth have both gone on record wanting all the Brit PPV money, So why wont Wlad let Haye keep all the British PPV to make the fight? ****, why not give Haye 60-40, or even 70-30, just to get him in the ring??

I mean, we all know that Wlad is the more legit champ, the classier guy, ect. So why wont he be the bigger man and take less money if it will get Haye in the ring? Wlad can't say he only wants the fight to get all the belts under the Klitschko name if the fight doesn't get made over financial differences.

Vitali said recently, in response to Haye's various financial demands, that the short notice and short money in the Lennox Lewis fight didn't matter, because it was a chance to fight for the world title and thats all that mattered.

True, but doesn't the same logic apply to Wlad and Vitali?? After all, Haye has something they want (belt), and the fight is the chance for Haye to get what he wants (a ton of money).

C'mon Wlad. If this is really for legacy, be the bigger man: Fight him for the smaller piece of the pie, embarrass him in the ring, and take his strap. What are you waiting for?

Please save the "Because Haye's a *****/scared/doesn't want the fight" comments, we've had them enough. Haye wants the fight. He won't be able to retire any time soon and will loose even the Brits support if he fights many more bums after Audley.

Vitali says he wants the belt, Wlad is the one who takes it personal, who wants to make Haye his b1tch. it has been stated plenty of times.

Good points. Nobody cares about legacy anymore, Money comes first and legacy comes second.
IMO Haye's demands were not too unreasonable (Wlad keeps TV money from Germany, Haye keeps PPV sales from the UK). If thats all it takes, and you really want him so bad then you should pounce at that opportunity.

OK, I heard it all. The Klits brothers fear Haye?? They are not the ones hiding and now they are the ones calling him out to play. Haye is a joke.

Uhh...are you crazy? When have Wlad and Vitali ever said they werent interested in money either. The two are smart guys, they are very interested in the business behind boxing. If they bend to the likes of Haye, not only do they give up a ton of money, I mean millions of dollars, but what does that tell the next opponents. Guess what, now Solis wants 60/40 or he wont fight. Adamek wants 70/30 etc...When you make those types of concessions other people notice and then theres one less bargaining chip for your next fight.

Name me one fighter who would do this? Wlad is the champ, hes been the champ for over half a decade, and he makes millions a fight. He also has people invested in him. Its not just Wlad who makes money off the fight its his manager, trainer, business partners etc...Pro boxing is a business, just like any pro sport, no one at the top of their game does it for free. Nobody. I dont care how much Lebron James wants a title, hes still getting the max to play in Miami, Jeter loves the Yankees...hes still going to want top dollar to stay there, Manning loves the colts and wants to win...he still wants a 100 million dollar contract.

When was the last time you turned down millions of dollars, damaged your business partners, hurt your reputation and jeopardized future dealings, all for your own pride.

Hey, when did Ali take less money to get a contender to fight him? How about Pacquiao? Ill be awaiting your responses. Its unreasonable for the champ for half a decade to take a dime less than anyone else.

Haye was offered 50-50. He should take it.

This sort of point can be turned any way you want it. Why not say that Haye should just be the bigger man and take 50-50 (which is an exceptionally good offer) to beat a fighter that he says he would beat and that only fights bums?

Floyd fights for money, Manny supposedly fights for pride. Why doesnt Manny offer Floyd 100% of the money? Why wont he do this? Is Manny a coward and afraid of Floyd?

Again, when did Ali ever give a challenger more money or even 50%. Wlad is the champ, 50/50 is unreasonable. Haye was offered that, turned it down, get over it.
