Rafa is 36, and spent his prime fighting years at 118.
Do the math. I still have him knocking Juana out though, so I don't care.

I am actually shocked that Ricans IN THIS THREAD. Don't know who Rafa was or don't know about Austin or Too Sharp.
You would think form the rich boxing history that Puerto Rico has that the fans in this thread would be more knowledgeable.

I mean honestly you think that most of us on here just pulled the names Mark Too Sharp Johnson Tim Austin and Silence Mabuza just for ****s and giggles?
this is your way of saying that because we won't tell you who they are you think it's a farce?
honestly this screams more of your inability to see past your nose by literally not knowing the resume of a fighter you all are touting as a true test for JuanMa
I mean answer me this. If Rafa is indeed questionable as you state then why do you and your ilk consider him a true test and a big win for JuanMa?
I'm sorry but I am not here to educate the feeble and you my friend are about as feeble as they come if you cannot recognize a 2 division champion who reigned over one division 8 times and grabbed two different titles another division upward

Ok , I admit , rafa might be past his prime. But what was his prime , taking 10 more punches per round , his skill level even when prime is not the same as lopez man , common get real.
Is funny becayse juan manuel marquez , another future hof boxer , who happens to be his brother , said his brother still has plenty left in the tank.
So what does that tell you?
But if we say it , its because we are rican.
Rafa has been in some wars , yes. But he had a long layoff. came back and won some relatively easy fights.
If he was really that good , and that talented , that savy , he would find a way just like Bernard has challenged age and has done it.
Thats all im saying.
his best days? What were his best days? When he fought Izzy?
So thats all he was capable of doing?
To some Juanma is a hype job. So the experienced great rafa should find a way to make it happen.
I take his brothers words over some of the posters on here.
And you say you take his brothers words over some of the posters here then I don't see the reason to make a thread about this topic. I mean it's not like JMM is going to sign up and come to your aide in this thread. Mostly everyone who's not Puerto Rican, seems to be disagreeing with you.

a raw, one-dimensional Concepcion was able to tag JuanMa with that one punch...had it been the middle of the round instead of the last 10secs, this fight might not be happening
