okay Mr Expert what exactly did you see that made you determine that Rafa is not past his prime?

Kind of sad that some of his fans that are more interested on making their point of the Great rivary, than supporting one of the best champions they have today.
at the same don't you think that a lot of Puerto Rican fans tout a bunch of these guys who are either past prime (Rafa) or really weren't that much to begin with (Choko Hernandez) to make it look like a Puerto Rican fighter winning over them is something of significance?

    goes both ways Mr Expert
Sadly Marquez gets more credit from Puerto Ricans that He gets from his own people.
no he's not. If this were a prime Rafa you guys would be ****ting on him like you do all Mexican fighters stop trying to act like you a holier than the myopic Mexican fans on here.

    I see the fight 50/50
    of course you do

and only hope my roster gets the win,
    wtf is your roster? bwahahahaha

but I know that its an uphill fight due to the experience and skills of the Mexican Champion.
have you actually seen Rafa fight? Have you not noticed the wars he has been in not only with Izzy but with others?

5 bucks says you have only seen him with Vazquez and that's it
Its a toss up and Juanma should get FULL credit
not even the oddsmakers think this

if He can beat the great champion.
maybe he already is but with myopic fans like you we will really never get to appreciate that now will we?

Lol Rafael Marquez is 35 years old and he's past his prime. You guys need to get a grip and stop acting like this is an actual toss up. It's not a toss up fight at all. JuanMa Lopez should win this fight. It's not Bernard Hopkins he's fighting.

Im glad you mentioned Bernard before I did.

Ok , I admit , rafa might be past his prime. But what was his prime , taking 10 more punches per round , his skill level even when prime is not the same as lopez man , common get real.

Is funny becayse juan manuel marquez , another future hof boxer , who happens to be his brother , said his brother still has plenty left in the tank.

So what does that tell you?

But if we say it , its because we are rican.

Rafa has been in some wars , yes. But he had a long layoff. came back and won some relatively easy fights.

If he was really that good , and that talented , that savy , he would find a way just like Bernard has challenged age and has done it.

        Thats all im saying.

his best days? What were his best days? When he fought Izzy?

So thats all he was capable of doing?

To some Juanma is a hype job. So the experienced great rafa should find a way to make it happen.

I take his brothers words over some of the posters on here.

I remember Rafa saying that Juan Manuel Marquez was looking really strong for the Mayweather match...

You sound as if the wars he had against Vazquez were nothing impressive. Fights like those take a lot from a boxer. The only fight Juanma can claim to have been a war was against Rogers Fucking Mtagwa. If Juanma beats Rafa, he gets all the credit he deserves. This doesn't take away the fact that Marquez is past his prime.

You say that Juanma is better than Rafa prime or not. Based on what?

Thank you for that title Sir. IMO Marquez is more dangerous as a featherweight than He was on his last fights as a Superbattamweight.
He like others who stay to long at a weight they have outgrown was loosing his legs to make 122. At 126 He will have more legs and bring more power and all his experience.
To put it simple, I think Juanma will face a much dangerous fighter than Vazquez faced on their rematches. Is not like Juanma is a natural featherweight as He also just arrived to the division after like him loosing his legs to make the division. Remember Matakwa?
IMO (Which I'm intitle to have) They both are coming from a division they had outgrown and have the same advantage, but Marquez is bringing much experience, boxing and on big fights.
I'm sure HE wish you guys would support him instead of looking for an excuse simply so you won't have to give credit to the Puerto Rican if He pull the fight. Its sad to see the people you represent trashing your carrier that at 35 is still very alive.

What are the excuses when Marquez knocks Lopez out?

stating facts is not an excuse.
rafa is obviously past his best. he is 35 years old compared to juanma who's 27. rafa's been fighting for 15 years to juanma's 5 years. rafa has fought 44 times to juanma's 29. rafa's 5'5" and on to his 3rd career fighting weight. juanma's 5'7" and obviously is the bigger guy especially on fight time.

there's no secret that juanma is favored to win this fight. if rafa loses just bring up these facts...you don't need excuses. but if juanma loses, you better get ready with your excuses.

No disrespect but how long have you been watching boxing?

Did you follow the lower weights?

Or do you only follow Rican fighters hardcore and the rest casually?

Because, for you to make that statement in the bold and also the whole well B-hop could be father time if Rafa is good then he should be able to argument. Sounds to me that you didn't really follow boxing that much.

there wont be any excuse. Because it wont happen.

rafa is getting destroyed at the hands of a hard hitting eyebrow shaver , which is what ****s cant stand.

WTF? You act like if Rafa is career super bantamweight. He was only in that division for 3 fights(all against the same fighter in a span of 12 months). Dude is a small featherweight man.

YOu such a rookie who really thinks he is some kind of an expert.

                      Yet your knowledge sucks. GTFOH.
