Post Traumatic Stress + Depression: There’s is only Oneeeee RICKY HATTON
    .

Other than Roy Jones Jr. no man in recent boxing memory has had to endure more mentality, emotionally, and physically than Manchester’s own, Ricky Hatton. Alcohol abuse, Binge Eating, ******* addiction, adultery, reported orgies, and worst of all a once revered and iconic man, has now done a downward 180 and has become the ultimate sympathy figure. The old saying that boxing is 90% mental and 10% physical is only reinforced when looking the tragic story of Ricky Hatton. I am no doctor nor am I a physiologist. However I do have eyes, and I do have ears. As a result of what I am seeing and hearing from Ricky Hatton as of late leaves me no doubt that Ricky Hatton is suffering from Posttraumatic stress, caused by the combination 3 things,
    1. Being completely emotionally, mentally, and physically abused by Floyd Mayweather jr,
    2. Losing a father figure in Billy Gram,
    3. Being completely annihilated, by man who in his own words was to simple to beat him. “With same move every time”

The cumulative effect all 3 things happening to one person in a lifetime would be hard to overcome. However this all happened to Ricky Hatton in 15 month span.

Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is an emotional illness that usually develops as a result of a terribly frightening, life-threatening, or otherwise highly unsafe experience. PTSD sufferers re-experience the traumatic event or events in some way, tend to avoid places, people, or other things that remind them of the event (avoidance), and are exquisitely sensitive to normal life experiences (hyperarousal).

After reading that description of (PTSD) and now looking at what is now Ricky Hatton of today, how can we not make this assumption this is the condition that Ricky now finds himself in.

Emotions are an important part of who we are. Mind, Body, and Spirit are only three parts of a four part equation. Emotions are the key to healing our broken hearts, damaged minds, and battered spirits. One cannot be whole and healthy without being stable emotionally.

As a result, please understand the emotional abuse that Ricky Hatton has went through should not be overlooked, Emotional abuse is like brain washing in that it systematically wears away at the victim's self-confidence, sense of self-worth, trust in their own perceptions, and self-concept.
It is a serious method ensuring failure in anyone.

Lose to Mayweather Mentality, No more self confidence.
Lose to Mayweather Emotionally, No more self worth
Lose Billy Gram, No more Guidance (Mentality unstable)
Lost to Mayweather and Pacquiao Physically, both equally traumatic

I have no doubt in my mind that now Ricky Hatton should now be on suicide watch, the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder: chronic and/or delayed are serious even sometimes fatal
    • Depression
    • Rage
    • avoidance of feelings: alienation
    • anxiety reactions
    • sleep disturbance and nightmares

After all these symptoms have occurred is usually when the victim decides to kill themselves.
No matter how you feel about Ricky Hatton, He doesn’t deserve to die.

    There's only one Ricky Hatton,
    One Ricky Hatton,
    Walking along,
    Singing this song,
    Walking in a Hatton wonderland.

    Get better Ricky!

Btw, If you or anyone else you know are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress , please report it.

The guy should give boxing a rest with his substandard boxing---I disagree with your thread title.

Hatton's problem is drinking, not that surprising that he's got a problem with it if you followed his career.
