    Jones after Tarver 2

The way I see it...Jones wasn't in perfect condition after his dramatic weight loss even for the 2nd fight against Tarver so I think that after his loss to Tarver he trained like an animal and at least a couple months before he even signed the contract

I think that when he first steps into the ring in October you will see the perfectly-defined 6 pack that he had before. RJJ wasn't focused for the Johnson and Tarver fights He was too involved into the non-boxing stuff happening in his life. I think the 2 losse's was an eye opener for him, and he has pride to finish the job on Tarver. He doesn't want a tarnished legacy. Who here thinks that Jones will be in the best condition of his life on this fight? Why or Why not?Thoughts?

You might be right...I HOPE YOUR RIGHT! If Roy beats Tarver I will be a very, very, very happy boxing fan on October 2nd.

I would love to see Jones back in prime condition. I hope he avenges his two real losses.

I want to see him beat Tarver, then Hopkins and then anybody every1 has been saying he ducked. If he wins all those he will have an even greater legacy.

True, but if he wins on October 1st I would recommend retiring. He is 36 and has done it all in boxing, he should have retired after the first Tarver fight but is still fighting. I think this will be his last fight win, lose or draw.

I'm sure a HUGE PAYDAY against Hopkins (if he beats Taylor) would bring him back

I agree with you...I think Hopkins is the only fight that could make Roy fight again IF he wins against Tarver.

Man, Roy Jones in his prime was just awesome. Seeing all those belts wrapped around him. He had such elegance, such swagger to his fighting. It was amazing to see.

I enjoy watching his fights from the 90's. He always found a way to dominate his opponents.
