the pads- yes. Those are indeed old pads. From what I know Capetillo makes pads like this during camp and had Tony use them during sparring so they eventually mold over Tony's knuckle area making it easier to apply. After use they eventually start to discolor and shape especially when they get wet after use

what was on the pads- now what was shown in Aug was a hi res photo of the pad taken from the fight. What was described was that it was hard and flaky, two aspects that lotion (which was common used as an excuse by some here) does not do

so yes pads are used all the time. It's a practice some old time trainers used

Does anyone think that Capetillo might've tried loading Tony up specifically for that one fight because he knew something about Mosley that the majority of pundits and onlookers didn't (ie. that Shane was just a bad, bad matchup and had all the tools to punish Margarito) and wanted to keep his boy on top now that he'd gotten him there?

And that maybe Margarito just wasn't packing anything in previous fights?


Just a theory. I don't know what to think. I do still admire a lot of things about Margarito, though, and it'd be great if he could redeem himself with this fight.

Ok, so when the CSAC did the tests, shouldn't they have found actual plaster? Why did they only find trace elements?

That seems like a pretty weak finding if you ask me.

Oxygen- check
Moisture-check
Calcium-check
sulfur-check

Yet all they found was trace elements and no actual plaster. Did Tony figure out a way to subvert chemistry?
