Is HBO making a mistake by not putting Bradley/Alexander on BAD (boxing after dark)?

Bruseles, Ndou, Mitchell, HErnandez, Cosme Rivera..
I could go on.
Pac/Margarito is a legit fight. Margarito did 500k with Cotto and sold out Staples Center 20k seats, and a 20k seat stadium in Mexico.
Lets see Bradley or Alexander sell out staples center or even do a ppv before we put them on ppv.

Showtime isn't paying that kind of money for anyone who isn't a major name. Neither one of these two has ever made a dime on PPV. So if they want to fight bums it will be on ESPN for $20,000. HBO should just call their bluff and make them come crawling back once they haven't made any real money in awhile. Too bad Ross Greenberg isn't nearly as smart as Lou DiBella was.
"Dear Alex and Bradley, show us an offer from another network and we will beat it. Until than, this is our offer. And oh yeah, neither of you get a piece of HBO money ever again unless you fight one another on our network. And tell your promoter we don't work with him anymore unless he gets this thing together."
What the hell would any of these guys or their promoters do? The fighters need HBO to for the biggest audience and for big paydays and the promoters need HBO to get fighters to sign with them. It could be so easy for HBO, but they make things complicated.

I'm just guessing that ESPN kicks in more bucks to get a title fight or a name that they think will help ratings.

There's only one way that manny became manny and Floyd became Floyd and thats by a network like HBO taking a chance on them and backing them all the way through... I don't get mad when they overpay Berto because thats what you do in good business, you toake risks when you feel that you might have an asset... I get mad when Berto fights some no name...
Bradley and Alexander are two of the better young Amercan fighters in the world and as of Dec. 31, 2010, their prospect days are OFFICIALLY over! The only way for them to become household names to those outside of the mainstream boxing community starts in January by fighting one another...
So everybody thats complaining needs to relax, let it all go down, watch and enjoy...
