i have nothing against Mexican fighters as a "whole" but some Mexican fighters(Chavez,De La Hoya,Castillo) i just don't like just like i don't like some Black Fighters(Hate Taylor cause of how he talks like he is trying to say the right thing all the time) just like i don't like some White fighters(but i like Ebo Elder)

i mean its not about race its about who i like to watch right now i just haven't found any Mexican fighters that i really enjoy watching but that doesn't mean i never will

To me its funny how they talk about Mexican Fighters being the toughest in the world but they never wanna mention Black fighters as a whole its kinda funny to me cause they know we have done more for the sport of boxing period then any other but i guess some things are taboo to speak on in boxing

What about how White journalist speak down on Floyd Mayweather cause of the way he shows confidence and how he speaks down on people my thing is this if they guy is good then just say he is good don't try to overshadow it by bringing up all the bad things you think is wrong with him.......look at how they treat Mike Tyson or how they use to treat Bernard Hopkins(now there all on his **** but i did love how he threw down the Puerto Rican flag i got tired of them waving that damn thing myself)

so please don't make a tread about how come everybody doesn't like Mexican fighters cause you don't see me bringing up all the **** i think is wrong with boxing when it comes to race

I think what you said here is anwered by the difference in styles. Most Mexicans come at you to beat the **** out of you and take massive punishment. Most blacks run around and bet you on points, sure they get a bunch of ko's on there way up but when they fight touch guys the will run.
I love guys like Hagler and Lacy cause they go to fight, not look good.Castillo might not hit as hard as some guys but does he care, he is there to ko you.Same goes for Chavez and Morales and all those tough Mexican fighters.

sure all the fighters that are my favorites are black thats because i can relate to them i don't really watch alot of Hopkins fights but i can relate to him when he said "Man i'm an excon and before i'll let you take something away from me you'll have to kill me first, if you don't believe me come and try it" or how Mike Tyson said "man i hate my life i hate what they've done to me maybe my next life will be better"......i can relate to these people cause i know how they have been hated against

see its not about race man its all about who you can relate to who styles you like........i respect all fights for getting in the ring its a brutal sport and a sport that i hope someday to become a part of

I think every fight a fighter would like to KO who he is fighting unless you want to go to the scorecards. Muhammed Ali and Tyson are icons in boxing, I dont know what more do you want. I enjoy watching PR's cause I relate to them to, jus how you explained it. I cant really relate to Mexicans or white fighters since they seem to be polar oppisites unless hes a real likeable person. Bernard hasnt really defended his title, you could only bring up three fighters worth mentioning in his record, and personnaly I wuld put James Toney at number one on my pound for pound list.
