He schooled him from beginning to end. It's a fight. If Kessler didn't like he should have done something. He didn't even look like he belonged in a ring with Ward.

I have a feeling that you are going to be proved incredibly wrong.

There is something special about that kid.

I don't think for one second that I'm reading into any hype.

I am making that call based solely on Ward's skillset and ringIQ.

When you say " clinching, head to chin and chest wrestling " about 6 ATG's spring to mind, and I wasn't even gonna mention Hopkins

By that, I didn't mean that Ward is ATG, just that a number of great champions have used somewhat "unorthodox" tactics, to say the least.

I don't think Ward's a dirty fighter. I hate it when a (usually young and inexperienced) boxer gets pushed around and needled off his game by a wiley old vet or a limited brawler. That aint gonna happen to Ward, he's learnt his lessons well.

In fact, it's more likely to go the other way..... Ward is more likely to inflict a style that throws his opponent off their gameplan, before he will allow himself to be needled.

You make it sound like Ward fights like that as a last resort, but I see him adapting to the opponent that is in front of him. I have been hugely impressed by the way he goes about his work, especially his maturity in the Kessler fight.

Heading into the Green fight, Allan had a puncher's chance.....
but because of the tactics and execution employed by Ward, he didn't even have that.
