Even if he wanted to go to Plan B, could he? Maidana really can't do anything in the ring but to try to knock his opponent out. That is why an athlete like Khan is going to put a beating on him. Khan will make this cat look pretty bad but then again Marcos Maidana is just a stepping stone to Bradley, Alexander, and even Victor Ortiz(yeah Maidana beat Ortiz but Ortiz is a difficult matchup for Khan).

I think Maidana REALLY fancies this fight and EXPECTS to KO Khan. Khan has better speed than Ortiz but nowhere near the power. I can see Maidana going for the body to start with to get Khan to drop his hands because Khan is going to be determined to cover his chin. Khan has never impressed me when he is pressured and Maidana is going to apply pressure.
