Shane's physically stronger than Manny and a true Welterweight with probably better Welterweight power. Manny is a lightweight fighting at his walking around weight. Tony's always fought faster opponents, he doesn't win with speed, he neutralizes it with pressure and pace. Not only that, but Tony is so much larger than Manny; this will be the first fight since Manny's fought above 135, where the size will matter. If Tony takes Manny's shots, he's gonna make really rough in there for the Pacman.

Sorry folks, but I believe the Mexicutioning stops here.

Hilarious, some people comparing what Pacman will do, to what Williams did. Williams is almost 6'2" and has a longer reach then Margs. Pac is 5'6" and will have a 6" reach to overcome. Calling Williams a beast against Tony is nonsense. Paul pity patted and ran all fight long and still was not able to prevent Tony from reaching him. Tony had Paul hurt and landed more meaningful punches, Paul deserved the win, but at the end of the fight he took more damage. I have not seen Williams fight that same B.S. style since, I assume it's because he wants to entertain us. However if he chose to fight that way every fight he would still be undefeated (boring), but undefeated. Tony vs Pac is a much better fight then Pac vs May, I for one was not thrilled with watching PBF try to preserve his record by giving us another stinker. I'd much rather watch a guy who comes to fight regardless of his record; Pac and Margs both meet that criteria. War Pac!!! War Tony!!!

Look at what a short Cotto was able to do. Pac has shown to be much more durable and to have MUCH better stamina than Cotto. Pac's output is what were comparing it to. Pac can do with his feet what PWilliams did with his reach. Cotto also had success with foot movement vs Margarito.

This fight will be a WAR for as long as it lasts. Tony's size, pressure, chin and power vs Manny's speed, power and relentless aggression. How can this not be good?

What? Pac actually has a defense now something Margarito has never had.. his footwork destroys margs too.. **** this Pac is a lightweight **** too.. guy is a jr ww now.. if he really was a lw why would he say Marquez needs to come up to 140?

Pac doesn't need to hold to beat Margarito but undoubtedly Roach and Azira (sp?) will bulk him up a little to help if they go with that gameplan.

At the end of the day, no matter how you try to spin it, Manny's physical size is that of a lightweight, but OK, lets say he's a Jr Welter; he's smaller than all other Jr Welters out there. Even as a Jr Welter, he'll be fighting a monster of a Welterweight and at 150lbs, giving Tony even more of an advantage in weight. Tony won't be weak like he was vs Shane. He'll be allowed three more pounds and will come into this fight healthy and strong. Manny will be fighting Tony at his walking around weight and probably won't cut any weight at all. I see Tony possibly putting on about 15lbs come fight night. The size difference will be huge and something Pac is gonna have to find a way to deal with. This won't be Manny vs Oscar. If Tony walks through Manny's punches, which is not completely out of the question, this fight will be very interesting. Tony takes a better punch than Cotto and will let his hands go, unlike Clottey. Not to mention his body punching, uppercuts and ability to cut off the ring. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see Manny blast him out dramatically in a war for the ages, but I'm not sure Manny is going to deal with the size of Tony very well.
