hes been fighting since he was 15 years old, the fact that he has 30+ fights means nothing in that respect. The fact that youre comparing him to Benitez is hilarious, considering that 90+% of the best fighters of all time became champ at over 20.
this is a risky fight for Alvarez. Baldomir is someone who has a LOT of experience with top level opposition and is a very tough bastard, despite his age. Someone with a lot of experience and is very difficult to KO is often the bane of upcoming propsects.
If Alvarez can win this, which is not a guarentee, then he already has a win over a current champion and a former lineal champion under his belt.
