numbskull, many fighters dont have the luxury of going into the amaterus: they have to feed their families, and you only get money in the professional ranks.

hes been fighting since he was 15 years old, the fact that he has 30+ fights means nothing in that respect. The fact that youre comparing him to Benitez is hilarious, considering that 90+% of the best fighters of all time became champ at over 20.


this is a risky fight for Alvarez. Baldomir is someone who has a LOT of experience with top level opposition and is a very tough bastard, despite his age. Someone with a lot of experience and is very difficult to KO is often the bane of upcoming propsects.

If Alvarez can win this, which is not a guarentee, then he already has a win over a current champion and a former lineal champion under his belt.

canelo is just a kid and this is a good fight for him, canelo still has a lot to learn he has the habit of taking time off during rounds, baldo will make him work, the kid has an incredible punch but hes better served just boxing him and peppering him when he can , screw trying to ko baldo that would ber a mistake his chin is just too good.
