Wts up with all the Williams Haters. The Punisher is a legit no bs fighter. Always in your face, punches in bunches, loves a good fight. I will be rooting for Martinez but Williams should not be looked at as a ducker because he has never ducked anyone lol. This fight can go either way. Can't Wait!Comment

I really dont understand why peeps get so pissy about Paul dropping down to 147. Lets be honest her efor a minute: 147lbs is the $$ division. Sergio Martinez, who at one time was mentioned as a possible opponent for Floyd "Slap My Lady Down To The Ground" Mayweather, was willing to drop down and fight.
Most peeps, from what ive noticed, look at Paul's height and reach and think that he needs to be at 160lbs+. I dont look at the weight class fighters fight in; i look at the weight they hydrate to on fight night. Paul has never cracked north of 166 lbs to my recollection. Hell he weighs in for 160lb fights at like 157-158 lbs. Glenn Johnson rehydrated to 192lbs in his fight with Tavoris Cloud. Paschal and Dawson were north of 185lbs. Kelly Pavlik was 178lbs in his fight with Martinez, so trying to throw him up in weight, based on his height, really has no steam anymore. Naturally, he is 154-160lbs,dropping to 147lbs really isnt a stretch to me.
As far as the fight is concerned, I think it will be a little boring actually. I pick Williams to win by decision. IMO, Paul has to 1. control distance and keep Martinez in range 2. Shorten his punches and pressure Martinez and 3. give head movement. Martinez loves to keep his hands down and counter when he jumps in range. Paul has to keep him at a distance where he can hit him and come thru with power. Martinez looked good against Williams because he didnt let Williams come close. After the 4th round where Williams caught Martinez's ass a few times, it was a different ballgame.Comment
