Freitas Turns Down Mayweather Fight!

Freitas? The fight that needs to happen is Floyd-Hatton, Hatton is the king of 140 not Floyd.

Why do you always say this? You act like Floyd is avoiding him. He tried to fight Hatton in his 1st fight at 140 but Hatton turned him down. Then every interview you read from that Hatton camp says they want the fight but not yet. They want atleast one more fight before then so why do you always talk like Floyd is ducking him? You dont think Floyd would jump at that fight?

Dude dont kid yourself. Im a huge Mayweather fan and I also love Chico and I picked him to win against Freitas by KO but I was heavily dissapointed in that fight. He made Freitas look like Sweet Pea. For you to say that Freitas has no chance against Chico is a joke. He dominated Chico the whole fight but then he ran out of gas. If he can maintain his stanima then he could beat Chico

I doubt that Floyd is really ducking anyone. Sure, he did take the easy guy out, but then again, who else was there except Harris, and Tsyzu? Tsyzu was taken by Hatton, and Harris, well, we saw him lose to Maussa the same night Floyd dismantled Gatti, so... I don't see why anyone would get on him for that.

Floyd will beat Hatton when they fight, and they will fight.

You know me and you have had our battles and Floy is my man but I thought the same as you when I heard this. Everyone is calling Freitas a wuss but Floyd is a punk if he wanted this fight. This fight sucks. Why would he want Freitas.

The only thing I can think of is he is waiting for the Hatton fight and he doesnt want to move up in the meantime. There are guys he can fight but he wants to be on PPV and Freitas has a big enough name to do that so this I can understand but it still sucks in my opinion and Floyd should just fight Margarito or something

I was thinking the exact same thing at first, then I started thinking that maybe this was just his managers and his team trying to get him a fight with a bi enough name for the time being. Mainly I have a hard time believing that Floyd wants this fight, cause while you are right that Freitas has a big enough name to warrant a ppv, this would be a total no win situation for Floyd and would serve more as a step backwards for his career.

I agree with Borikua. Floyd should fight Hatton. It really sucks, because making a fight with hatton is going to be alot tougher than making a fight with Tszyu. Everyone is going to want things their way.

Why would Mayweather want to fight Freitas but not Cotto? Cotto's a little too green huh? I think as of late Mayweather's handlers have been doing a pretty good job at picking his opponents... with the exception of Gatti whom wanted to fight Floyd. I hope Mayweather-Hatton happens with in a year, i don't like floyd, but i just wish the best would fight the ****en best.
