Ishe is a good writer & everyone is entitled to their own opinion & I usually agree on a lot of things Ishe writes about, but not quite this time...

1st I beleive Margarito should be banned for life & if Margarito or anyone would have used those type of tactics on Ishe, he probably would also agree..

2nd I don't think Gilbert is that good & the only 2 names on his list that are known is Brinkley(who Gilbert literally ran from) & Manfredo, who aren't that good & he lost to the both of them & even thou Ouma has lost 5 out of his last 6 he gave Martirosyan a run for his money & knocked him down & had him hurt in the 9th..So who knows how this fight will turn out..

3rd I think Mosley has a good chance of beating Mora...Mora can't punch & won't be able to stop Mosley on his tracks & that should benefit Mosley..

4th Dzinziruk ¿Hasn't fought anyone with a pulse? Dzinziruk defeated well trained in shape Daniel Santos(even knocked him down in the 8th) & after that Santos became a champion & right after that Dzinziruk defeated a tough as nails Sebastian Lujan(the same Lujan Margarito literally ripped his ear off in 2005, ¿hummm? ¿maybe the wraps had anything to do with that?) Dzinziruk also defeated Joel Julio when Julio was on a 7 fight winning streak from in only defeat(at the time) among those Julio defeated in that steak was Ishe Smith himself..

To tell you the truth I think style plays a factor.
So, uh, why then was Pacquiao trying to make a fight with Mayweather?

And what's "black" style? Is it Joe Frazier? Is it John David Jackson? Is it Pernell Whitaker? Is it Steve Cunningham?

And maybe when Paul Williams actually gets promoted correctly, sells ticket and does more than subsist off HBO money, then maybe he'll get fights with the top welterweights. But Williams has a shot at the middleweight champion right now and HBO money behind said shot...

i can't take anyone who thinks margarito deserves a second chance seriously comparing it to people who have commited crimes and want a second chance is ******

people do crime for many reasons and more times then not it's the situation they are put in that will make them do it

thats not the same as what margarito tried to do

what would he say if mosley could never fight again because of this cheating de****able cretin

When was the last time Pac fought a Black American fighter?

And why did he chose to fight a known cheater with NO BOXING LICENSE? (I know that he recently got reinstated but at the time he was banned.

Was Margocheato a more deserving opponent than P-Will, Devon Alexander, Timothy Bradley or Andre Berto?

I'm starting to belieive that Manny and his camp have something against American Black fighter.
I got a question for you, too. When was the last time a Black American fighter not named Floyd Mayweather Jr. amounted to some money? Because up until now those fighters you mentioned can't even draw flies over a pile of ****. Grossly overpaid is an understatement. The fault of the networks and boxing's politicians.

Berto sold about 900 tickets in Florida in a fight dedicated to a relief cause for Haiti. How the fnck could he ask for 1.8 million? Bradley can't get out of Aguacaliente's 2000 seat ballroom. When P-will made Cintron dive out of the ring, roughly 3000 people witnessed. Devon might draw some in St.Lou, if Cory shares the card but still doesn't deserve the shot. He still has to work his way up the ladder.

You see the problem is, American fighters don't want to do that anymore. They don't want to work their way up to the top of the food chain. What they want is an instant shot at the big times. All they do is call out an elite fighter hoping to land the big one.

If they only knew what Manny Pacquiao had to go through to get to this level...

The Pacquiao that we all know now isn't the Pacquiao who started at 106 lbs. He was undisciplined, and ****y. Relying solely on his power even though he doesn't have the concussive power that he has now.

He was just a kid, 11-0 with only 4 KOs before he took a humbling KO loss from a 11-4-4 journeyman named Rustico Torrecampo and give him a dose of reality.

He rededicated himself to the sport anew and went 12-0 & 10 KOs before he won his first World Title at Flyweight when he was 19, knocking out Chatchai Sasakul in 8; in a fight in which he was losing on the cards because of his crude fighting style.

He would only win 2 more fights before he couldn't drain himself anymore to make 112 lbs. Losing his title on the scales, he was knocked out in 3 by a Medgoen Singsurat body shot in Thailand.

Sensing an urgency to move up in weight, he made a drastic three-weight division jump to 122 lbs. Which fighter now would make a move like that coming off a knockout loss???

Without having to drain himself, he stopped everyone at 122 before coming to America.

Manny's success i believe is not only because of his speed or punching power but of LUCK, or Divine Intervention if you might put it, bearing the fact that Pacquiao is a devout Catholic.

When he came to America, they scoured the country for a trainer to take him in but doors were shut in their faces. Until the second to the last stop before they went home, the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, Freddie Roach let him hit the mitts, and the rest is history.

In his first fight on American soil, he took the fight on 2 weeks notice, being the replacement opponent for the then IBF Jr. Featherweight champion Lehlohonolo Ledwaba.

On the undercard of an Oscar De La Hoya fight.

Now that's some luck, ain't it? His 1st fight in the U.S. was a title fight.

He knocked out Ledwaba in 6 rounds, earning him his 2nd world title in as many divisions. He ate all of Ledwaba's best punches. He didn't have no head movement. He was always there to be hit. A testament to his chin that's often underrated. He can take a punch because he's used to getting hit.

Immediately after that, he sought to unify the titles with the notoriously dirty Dominican, WBO champ Agapito Sanchez. A fighter he didn't have to fight just in his 2nd fight in America. He could've taken a mandatory but he really seeks to fight the best.

The fight ended up in a technical draw in the 6th due to a huge cut above Pacquiao's eye courtesy of 2 Sanchez headbutts. He constantly fouled Pacquiao in every way imaginable that many observers said Pacquiao should've won by DQ. Of course the referee was Joe "ABC" Cortez so it figures. Pacquiao being a true sportsman refused to foul him back.

2 months later, Sanchez was stripped of his title because of his behavior in the Pacquiao fight.

Pacquiao went on to score 4 more knockouts until his ultimate challenge.
Including a KO2 over Jorge Eliecer Julio on the undercard of TYSON-LEWIS.

Moving up to 126 to challenge P4P superstar Marco Antonio Barrera.
            We all know what happened.

Again, immediately after that, he sought unification of the titles.
This time against Juan Manuel Marquez.

Maybe that's the only thing Pacquiao isn't lucky of : a unification match.
2 times he sought to unify the titles.
2 times it ended up in a draw.
