There's no excuse for the Williams-Martinez rematch not being finalized by now.

Its beating a dead horse. How do we know Martinez isnt holding up the fight?

Last I heard its the venue. If people actually use their ****ing heads theyd figure that out. Where can HBO put this fight where they'll make money.

    You tell me.

What venue? What card? Who actually wants to see Martinez and Williams fight outside of boxingscene?

I'll tell you where the fight can take place. Atlantic City with better judges. They made a name for themselves there after all and those people support boxing a lot.

same people who wanted to see them the first time, and then some

if the issue was about this fight not being a big enough draw, HBO would've scrapped it already. either martinez or pwill are holding it up, and i honestly doubt that martinez is the one responsible (especially after the angulo offer)

wasn't HBO pressuring pwill to take on either martinez or sergei?

They didnt fight in the main arena though. They fought in front of 3,000 people.

Neither one of them are draws all of a sudden since that fight.

What you are saying doesn't mean jack shit and I'll tell you why. HBO wants this rematch to happen for a reason. The longer Williams takes to sign this fight like I said before, the less money it's gonna draw anyway due to a shitty promotion and yet you keep defending him.

Why would you doubt it after the Angulo offer? Angulo was right for turning it down. Martinez camp failed to mention that Angulo was receiving little to none of the gate even though hes a Mexican fighter and the fight wouldve been in Cali. So if something shady is going on Martinez's side again it wouldnt shock me. Hes soon to be 36 years old and is trying to cash in himself a lot of his fan boys seem to forget that,.

Williams wants to fight both guys. Once a Pac or Floyd fight was gone they said we'll only match Sergei or Martinez.

The hell are you talking about? Martinez has NOT signed anything. Nothing.

"The longer Paul takes"? Um wheres Martinez's signature?

So this fight making HBO money means nothing to them? Promotion or not this is a hardcore fan fight not a casual fight. Maybe HBO is realizing that. NO ONE knows who either guy is.
