I think the win is underrated in all honesty. The guy was pound for pound and he outboxed him for 12 rounds. If he threw his weight around and used his physical build to his example I wouldn't be impressed but he used technique to defeat Marquez.

Can't believe people acting like the only way weight factors in is if the bigger fighter is physically manhandling the smaller guy.

Marquez was slower and had worse reflexes at 135, at 144 he had nothing left. His whole game is built on reflexes and timing, which he loses moving up 9 pounds higher than a weight class he had already lost speed, timing and reflexes at.

As a fan of Mayweather, I simply class it as:

- A fight to shake the cobwebs up

- A fight to show that he could easily beat Pacquaio's toughest opponent, and to get in his head.

A win is a win, and it was a very dominant win at that, but with all the weight issues,it takes away from it...at 130/135 Floyd still wins but it would've been way mor competetive
