golden boy can't make 25% of the PROFITS just from pacquiao's side.

about half of ppv revenue goes to cable companies.

even if marg gets paid nothing that leaves pacquiao only 50% of the profits.

you telling me gbp gets 50% cut of pacquiao's purse?

      A catch 22 at it's worst.
      no it doesn't affect pacquiao.

gbp gets that money from arum's end.

it doesn't affect pacquiao whether he's fighting gbp fighters or not.

      it affects arum.

that's why arum wants in house fights for pacquiao. (even more so than he usually does for his fighters)

hatton , barrera 2 , delahoya , marquez 2...... gbp made a killing in those fights.

gbp getting money from both sides.
LOL, in-house fights simply mean more money for the promoter. It's the goal of every promoter. The problem is, not every promoter has all the best fighters.

We don't have the details, but I'm positive I'm closer to the truth than any one else. What some people are suggesting makes no business sense. Even a 10 year old would turn down the raw deal that Arum is apparently getting.

In a contract, it doesn't just say "promoter gets 2x % of fighter's purse." It also talks about how the promotion works. There's a reason boxers need promoters, and promoting ain't free.

So that's why arum would rather do business with Don king instead of gbp.

              it annoys me.

****** **** like "pac is on roids" , "floyd is a ducker"

              whatever. don't care.

but they try to talk about details and they don't know anything.

horus thinks pacquiao has 2 contracts going on at the same time.

that dumb rios guy thinks golden boy gets 25% of fight's profits instead of 25% of the promoter's cuts.

                BINGO!

finally another person who makes sense.

if floyd fights under gbp , gbp gets 50/50 co-promotion on pacquiao.

I read that article and this is what is says:

"Arum, though, pointed out that Golden Boy still has a piece of Pacquiao and will be entitled to 25 percent of the profits from Pacquiao’s side from the Margarito fight."

it didn't say anything about what Arum makes?

                    :
if margarito doesn't get a cut of ppv money than it doesn't matter. arum said 'profits' and i think arum knows his busines better than you know his busines.

why is gbp even getting money from manny?
