People forget how everyone was asking for fights against Tarver and Johnson. He beat them then he fought old men. Tarver had the rematch clause which he pulled right away and lost, that wasn't Dawson's fault. The Johnson rematch everyone was asking for it because Dawson supposedly lost the first one. Now he's free to fight who ever and look who he picks. Pascal is a dangerous opponent.

I agree it's disapointing. But you have to consider that August is one of he 2 months in the year where we have good temperature. Not a good time to sell a boxing match. And people in Montreal tend to buy their tickets the week or even the day of the fight.

There's still 3-4 days left for the fight. This fight isn't even being promoted on TV at all, or anywhere that I know of. We'll see what happens. Anyways, as long as Dawson wins it's all good. He'll line himself up to fight Bute which would sell a lot of tickets in Montreal.

Dawson should win although Pascal is tough and at home. But he is also crude so I'd expect Dawson to take a fairly one-sided decision.

PS: Bute won't fight Dawson. Bute only fights clubfighters untill the supersix has concluded.
